The enclosed ground floor A/C bedroom contrasts in every respect with the open upstairs accommodation featuring pure Balinese unobstructed clear views down to the assure Indian Ocean over blinding emerald green rice fields bounding the exotic Hindu Temple Puri Mastima. The room's second floor height assures one of the best views on Bali and makes it a wonderfully private nest hidden up in the tops of the surrounding coconut and fig palms.

There is so much to do and see in and around Villa Chandra ranging from massages (reflexology to full-body) including day fishing trips with the local fishermen, private yoga and tai chi lessons and many, many things in between that we have produced several brochures to help our guests plan their stay in advance. A second brochure covers a range of Island tours with pricing, distances and short descriptions of the tours and the Balinese drivers that we have cleared to work with our guests for their English abilities and knowledge. Both of these brochures are only available after you have booked and your email address is accessible to us.

Villa Chandra is a very special and unique base to enjoy your Balinese experience from and we feel that we have succeeded in including as much of the world famous Balinese flair and style into it's construction and layout as we possibly could and at the same time fully embracing a maximum on western ideals of comfort and convenience. Our trained, gentle and loyal Balinese staff who have all been with us for many years will do everything in their power to assure that your stay with us is a happy, tranquil, adventurous and memorable one.

As owners and caretakers of this small piece of paradise along with the neighbouring Villa Surya we try to use our extensive local knowledge to assist our guests in getting the most out of their short time here and help make their holiday truly the experience of a lifetime.

Should your group be larger it is also possible to book our neighbouring Villa Surya - both villas together offer a total bed space of maximum of 9 persons please just ask.

Response from the owner Many thanks for your honest revue and all the great tips you have given to both us and future guests. We will not be serving the shrimp again - unfortunately many of our guests have loved them but not all and we would rather stick to the fresh fish from the market you had twice which all our guests love without exception.
