Excellent equipment and service. We rented the Highlander III for the larger bed size - we slept like babies. Heater and cooler were lifesavers. Highly recommend.

Thanks for the 5 stars and for being so honest with us! :)) Sorry for the gas stove, however, we genuinely thought that the instructions were clear enough as our customers never had any issues with it. We still decided to put another stove in our office for customers ́ practice so that everyone could try it before hitting the road, it's better to be safe than sorry later :)) Regarding the bedding - the Highlander III requires wider sheet as the bed itself is bigger, so it could have been that you accidentally got the shorter one. We are extremely sorry for that! We will try to make sure it never happens to anyone again! Regarding the cooler and the power inverter, we are sorry again for this inconvenience! However, we have 15 workshops in Iceland for this reason. Even though we check everything before each rental, some sudden issues might arise unexpectedly, unfortunately, and when that happens we never leave our customers on their own! So it's amazing to hear that you were satisfied with the way we solved the problem. :))) Thank you for other tips, they will be useful for our future customers! A few tips from our side: Midnight sun can be super deceiving during summertime so take the sleeping masks just in case (even though there are blackout curtains). The list of the campsites is now included with a tablet, so you can see the facilities and prices for each and every one of them. It's much more comfortable to wash your clothes/sheets in the campsites as they usually provide dryers too so you don´t need to worry about stringing up the clotheslines :) Regarding the storage, you are welcome to leave some unnecessary items or suitcases in our free storage room for free throughout your trip. It can be super helpful! :) Double check everything before leaving our parking area and if you want to make any changes, you are always welcome to add any extras needed at the last minute. :) We hope to see you again in the future and thank you for choosing us! :)) Best regards, Cozy team

Why can't I call Birkir (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Birkir (the owner) a message.

If Birkir (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
