Description
Lombok Zen Villa Kuta is a 3 bedroom house with swimming pool located within walking distance from the centre of Kuta where all the restaurants are, and 700 m from the beautiful Kuta main beach. But there a dozens of fabulous beaches to explore around Kuta on both sides of the little town.
Lombok Zen Villa Kuta is just that: zen. Set in a lush tropical garden, back from the street, it is the perfect holiday home, quiet and central altogether.
There are two rooms in the main building, each with king size beds, air conditioning and their own bathroom. One of them has a desk. There is another desk in the lounge. The lounge is vast to entertain your family and friends. There is a dining space, a flat screen TV with DVD reader, a fully equipped kitchen and a bar. Free wifi in the main house.
There is a third room in the garden that you can rent (optional). The third room has a king size bed, air conditioning and its own bathroom.
The pool is large enough for laps – 9×4 m. There are sun beds and an umbrella. There is also a bamboo gazebo ideal for your afternoon lazy naps.

Where is it?: Lombok Zen Villa Kuta is located in Jl. Mawun No.16. Kuta is 30 mn drive from Lombok International Airport (Praya). We can organise your transfers from the airport. Transport is FREE for stays of 7 days or more.
What to do: Kuta Lombok is the hot new destination. The beaches are truly magnificent, good surf and diving and plenty of things to explore.
Beaches. Don’t limit yourself to Kuta main beach. rent a scooter and explore the nearby other beaches. Clear waters, white sand, interesting rock formations, coves and bays. There are six main beaches in Kuta and nearby area: the main beach, Seger Beach, Tanjung A’an, Mawun, Mawi and Selong Belanak beach.
Diving. There are 25 dive locations that cater to both novice and expert divers – from shallow coral reefs and slopes to impressive underwater rock formations, caves and swim-throughs to various sized islands and open ocean pinnacles.
Surfing. There are four surf-points. Within the Lombok’s Kuta Beach there are two points, namely Gerupuk that provides neutral waves, and Aik Guling offering waves mostly for the left-handed. Several Km to the West of Kuta Beach there is Pengantap desert point that provides various grades of attractions, but it is ideal only during the periods of June, July, August, December and January. The next break is at Ekas Beach that offers challenging waves and reef-break-points, reachable by boat or by land from Kuta Beach on an approximately one and half hour cruise.

“Awful experience”

Response from the owner Dear Loulia, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a detailed review on your experience with us in Lombok. I have forwarded your review to the owner of the villa, I will summarize his answer. First of all, the property has 2 rooms in the same building and one extra room in the garden, but the whole property is private so the third room is located in the same private property and not outside. Also, Lombok is a wonderful island when it comes to landscapes, but it is not very safe as there is a certain number of thiefs on the island. The rails outside the window are set for the comfort and the security of our guests to prevent any issue inside the property. You also probably note that there is a security gard in from of the property 24/7. It is most probably better to know the villas is "too much secured" rather than not enough and take the risk to have your valuable goods stolen. The black floor tiles are indeed dark, it is the owner's decoration style. Although the villa might be a little dark, there are two terraces, one in the south with a lot of sun, and another terrace at the back which is shadowed and cooler. The private garden is wide (11 Ares) and you also had access to the private pool and the sport room, which you forgot to mention. Regarding our staff and the car issue, there are several taxi drivers outside who also might have asked for the same price, but we cannot take responsibility on this issue. It is also important to note that the staff is trained to improve their English skills as much as possible, but in general Indonesian people speak English quite bad as their English teachers don't speak English either. This fact is unfortunately true all around Indonesia. You are right on the cleaning issues, this has already been fixed a while ago. Eventually, your comment on the Mosque seems inappropriate as you deliberately came to Indonesia knowing it is the biggest Muslim country in the world. Mosques are everywhere (there are less in Bali as it is a Hindu island) and it is our duty as foreigners to respect the culture, values, traditions and religion of the local people living there... It would have however been more correct from you to inform our staff about these issue when you were there, before leaving the place. This kind of issue is fixable and you totally could have enjoy the end of your stay there. Moreover, writing the comment almost a year after you came made your review obsolete, as a few things have changed since. Kind regards Lys
