Description
Quinta das Casuarinas has, for over 30 years has been our beautiful, spacious, comfortable first or second home. It has a wonderful feeling of privacy and seclusion, being set in its own grounds of 3 acres. The southerly panoramic views are towards the village of Portelas & Falfeira. The historic old town of Lagos and the sea where there are miles of beautiful sandy beaches, only 2 miles away. Bougainvillea, morning glory, oleander and acacia grow abundantly around the villa. There are many covered, shaded areas for escaping the midday sun - one of which overlooks the huge securable pool terrace - providing seating for supervision of young children and an area for alfresco dining with a BBQ. Looking west there are further covered areas (just outside the 2nd sitting-room ) - a second dining area plus a comfortable outside 'sitting-room' from which to enjoy your morning coffee or evening drinks with a view of the garden and setting sun. Many beautiful golf courses are within easy driving distance. Plus surfing only a 1/2 hour drive away.Coast/Beach Lots of wonderful beaches very nearby - On Meia Praia you can walk or run for several miles. Windsurfing, sailing, water skiing and jet skiing all available. Plus great beach bars for a drink,a meal or a snack.

“Fabulous Villa - perfect for a large group”
We brought 9 family and friends to the villa for a week. High up on the hill side it is so spacious, so well equipped and so lovely especially the pool. Very near to Lagos and lots of nice beaches. We had an amazing holiday and would recommend it to all. I would also commend the owner, friendly, personable, efficient and very easy to deal with - made all the difference. We hope to return one day !

“A lovely place for a holiday”
We had a great holiday at Quinta das Casuarinas, and would all like to return. The villa is plenty big enough, we had 7 adults and 3 children, aged 1, 4 and 5. The pool is lovely and we spent a huge amount of time in it. Lots of places to sit, read, watch, eat etc outside, so we could have sunshine or shade whenever we wanted. The garden is lovely, lots of beautiful and interesting plants. The villa is very well equipped , clean and tidy. A short trip into Lagos and many other small fishing villages and beaches further west.
