Description

Casa Sol - Portuguese for the Sunny House - is a single story villa, situated in Parque do Moinho on the outskirts of the pretty and historical town of Lagos. It has three bedrooms, two doubles and one twin, and there are 2 newly renovated shower rooms with large walk in shower toilet and sink.

There is an open plan living area which consists of lounge, dining room and kitchen. The lounge has French windows opening directly on to the poolside. There is space for car parking at the front of the villa.

In 2015 renovations were made with new floor tiles in a lighter shade and a brand new kitchen, all rooms are now air-conditioned.

The living room has a flat screen TV with basic UK satellite channels, BBC, ITV and channel 4 and Norwegian, Danish and Swedish channels too.

The brand new kitchen is well equipped with a fridge freezer, cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave, all electric (no gas)

The walled garden is very private, having a 5 x 10 meter rectangular pool with plenty of space around it for sun loungers and a BBQ for 'al fresco' dining on balmy summer evenings. Being south facing, it is a pleasant sun trap but it also has covered terraces for shade when you feel the need to cool off. The large roof terrace has views towards the sea and the mountains.

The bustling walled town of Lagos, with its narrow cobbled streets, quirky shops and street entertainment, is about a 20 minute walk or a short bus ride away. Beyond the Marina, the expansive white sands of Meia Praia provides all sorts of water activities including kite surfing, and there are several top class golf courses within a short car drive. Other nearby outdoor activities include archery, lawn bowls, horse riding, guided bicycle rides, micro light flights and guided walks to name but a few.

Nearest shop: Both Aldi and Lidl are within walking distance about 10 minutes away ideal for that first shop.

Nearest restaurant: Piri Lampo is 3 minutes away down the hill, although it serves Portuguese its main clientele is English. Alternatively for more choice the lively town of Lagos is a 25 minutes walk, walk around the traditional cobbled streets and take your pick from national to international cuisine.

Nearest beach: The Meia Praia is about 40 minutes walk away but 5 minutes in the car. The beach is supervised throughout the summer months and there is a selection of beach bars/restaurants along the beautiful white dunes. A variety of water sports are also available.

How do damage deposits work?
