Casa do Teixo is a Luxury detached villa with private pool, air conditioning and free WiFi, located in the popular Meia Praia area only a few kilometres from the beach, Marina da Lagos and the town with its cobbled streets and an abundance of restaurants and bars, a perfect villa for a family holiday in Portugal.
The villa has been tastefully decorated to a high standard and comprises of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the main villa and a seperate 2 bedroom annex situated in the basement level of the villa with its own entrance and a shared bathroom.
On the ground level of the villa you enter the front door into a hall way which leads off to the 3 bedrooms, there is a Master suite with TV system and a full bathroom, patio doors leading out onto the pool side terrace, the second bedroom with twin beds also has patio doors leading out to the pool terrace and the 3rd bedroom which is a double room and shares the second bathroom with shower which is located in the hall way.
The annex is located from the front entrance you go down an external staircase and through a separate door, there is a large entrance hall with a sofa, book shelves, TV and DVD player, there is a USB port in the TV if you wish to bring your own films and there are tea and coffee facilities in the annex also with a mini fridge for cold drinks, this is perfect for older teenagers or adults only, there is a large double room and a twin bedroom that share a bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, the annex is not air-conditioned but there are fans in both bedrooms.
The spacious living area of Casa do Teixo is located upstairs, there is an open plan living area with dining table and seating for 8 people, the lounge has 2 sofas and 2 armchairs, satellite TV and DVD player there are 2 patio doors leading out onto a large balcony which overlooks the pool area, there is outside dining furniture on the balcony for 10 people so you may enjoy some al fresco family dining.
The kitchen is also located on this level with dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and all the usual utensils. There is also a separate upstairs toilet and a utility room with washing machine.
Outside has a lovely large 5 x 10 swimming pool, built in BBQ with seating area and sun loungers surround the pool.
The villa is situated on the hill above the Meia Praia, the Marina which is only a few minutes' drive away offers a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, a short walk over the footbridge from the Marina and you are in the centre of the historic town of Lagos with its cobbled sidewalks and colorful market square, offering a large variety of restaurants, bars, cafe, shopping and markets. The golden sandy beach of Meia Praia is also under a 5 minute drive, with a variety of water sports activities available. Palmares, Boa Vista and Penina Golf Courses are a 5 to 15 minute drive away. For the children there are a variety of water parks and theme parks within a 30-minute drive.

Nearest shop: Pingo Doce supermarket is a few minutes drive away ideal for your big shop a smaller shop is situated at the bottom of the hill for daily essentials.
Nearest restaurant: Just 5 minutes away on foot, The seasonal complex Jardim de Meia Praia has an on-site restaurant that is open all day, with a children's menu and play area. In the opposite direction is the Marina de Lagos which hosts a wide array of restaurants specializing in international food.
Nearest beach: The beautiful white sands of the Meia Praia is also only a few minutes drive away. Lifeguards are present throughout the summer season and there is a wide variety of restaurants/beach bars that cater for all tastes.
