Description
The Hideaway is privately situated in the grounds of a country house in the heart of Kent, midway between the delightful villages of Lamberhurst, Horsmonden and Brenchley. For those wanting a quiet retreat the gardens offer a haven away from the bustle of every day life. There is no need to go far to experience outstanding food with Lamberhurst offering several superb pubs, restaurants and the famous vineyard. Also within Lamberhurst are Scotney Castle, Bedgbury Pinetum and Bewl Reservoir. All of which provide stunning walking and other leisure activities such as golf, cycling, sailing and windsurfing.
With all of this literally on your door step there is no need to go far, however for those wishing to tour and explore further a field they will not be disappointed. The famous Spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells in only 7 miles away offering excellent shopping and tourist attractions. There are several National Trust properties within half an hour - Bodiam Castle, Scotney Castle, Sissinghurst Castle, Knowle house, Ightam Mote and Chartwell to name a few!

“Lovely setting”
Had a lovely couple of days. Beautiful peaceful setting with enclosed garden which our little dog enjoyed. Unfortunately we had a tragic personal event and we had to cut our holiday short

“Excellent hideaway.”
The chalet is well named as you are slap bang in the Kent county only being overlooked by the bulls and the birds. Both the east and south coasts are within 30 miles and there is so much to see in Kent. The chalet has everything even a porch to sit on to watch the sun go down.The garden is fully fenced so our dog could play secure and in peace ( if he could only play quietly it would have been heaven)
