Description

A detached, secluded, stone built cottage on the canal, 2 minutes from the city.

The house in on 2 floors with a full fitted kitchen, bathroom and living room on the first floor with views of the Cathedral and Castle.

The ground floor is elevated above the canal and consists of a bedroom with a king size bed and a dining room, or as we like to call it, the ‘feed the ducks room’ which can be done from the Juliette balcony. There is also a garden, where you can sit and eat with picturesque views of the canal and Cathedral.

Hello there I will meet you at the cottage and give you the keys. Most things are provided hair drier iron etc.but sorry we do not supply towels.I will not bother you during your stay but you can call me or the caretaker anytime. Happy holidays V.Kitchen.

“Another lovely stay”

Vera once again welcomed us to another lovely long weekend at Clayton Bridge House. Very cosy - warms up very quickly - and an ideal location. This is a perfect spot for visiting the Lake District, as well as some of the lovely scenery closer by. Be sure to check out Brew - a local coffee shop just a few minutes walk away - one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had!

“Great place to stay”

This is an excellent place to stay. It is very comfortable and well equipped, and very light. Its location is really convenient - a few minutes walk from the city centre -. it is also very quiet, with lovely views over the canal.

“Calm in the centre of the city”

Comfortable and very nicely furnished and equipped. The canal is always pleasant to look at. It was a pleasure to sit with evening sun streaming through the Juliet windows. Parking was useful.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Vera (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
