Description
Spacious and bright villa with all modern facilities. Splendid views over the Durance valley. Ideal for barbecue on the terrace. Quiet setting, only 2 min walk from the village of Lauris with bakery, restaurants, butcher, newsagent, Post Office, hairdresser, bars, bank etc.
Short drive from lovely villages such as Lourmarin (5 km), one of the most beautiful villages in France. Cadenet (7 km) a typical Provencal village with a castle and great views of the Luberon Mountains. Another village worth a visit is La Tour D’Aigues (23 km) and its castle or the town of Pertuis (20 km). 1 hour east of the Papal city of Avignon.
THE VILLA:
LIVING AREA: Large living/dining room with corner sofa, 2 armchairs and a fireplace (not in use). Upright Yamaha piano. Dining area. Sliding door leading to the furnished terrace.
Mezzanine above the kitchen and dining area with TV (some English channels: Sky News, BBC World news), DVD player, hi-fi and two sofas (one 3-seater and one armchair). Office corner.
KITCHEN: dishwasher, fridge, oven, microwave, 4 induction hob, kettle, coffee machine and toaster. French door to terrace.
Utility room with washing machine, dryer, freezer, iron and ironing board.
BEDROOMS:
Ground floor
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with double bed (140cm).
Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom.
Bedroom 3: Twin bedroom.
First floor
Bedroom 4: Double bedroom with Queen size bed (160cm x 200cm) and en suite shower room.
Bedroom 5: Large double bedroom.
Access from both bedrooms to a small sun terrace with table, 2 chairs and great views.
BATHROOMS:
Ground floor: Separate bathroom with bath and 2 washbasins. Separate wc.
First floor: Shower room ensuite to bedroom with Queen size bed. Separate wc.
OUTSIDE:
Enclosed garden located behind the villa. Access via electric gates. Terrace with outdoor furniture, parasol, sunloungers. Gas barbecue. Five parking spaces. Swings, slide and Wendy house.
SWIMMING POOL:
Pool size: 8m x 5m. Depth: 1.4 – 2m. Security system: Electric cover. Steps. There are a few steps down from the terrace to the pool area.
SERVICES:
Payable locally: Security deposit: 1000€ (payable in cash on arrival) refunded on departure once an inventory has been made.
Water and electricity are included.
Included in the rental rate:
Bed linen, towels (not pool towels) and tea towels included.
Cleaning is included but the property must be left as found (kitchen, dishes done and put away, bins emptied and all linen put together in the utility room).
Check-in on Saturday between 4-8pm. Late arrivals can be arranged but must be requested at least a month in advance.
Checkout before 10am.
2 cots (bedding can be provided), 1 highchair and highchair booster available. Please ask at the time of booking.
