“Great break”

Reviewed 8 Nov 2022

Had a lovely relaxing time, the cottage was very comfortable and clean, also in a good location with beautiful views of the loch, and across the road the Goil Inn , where we ate most nights, good food. Plenty of great walks for our dog. We will definitely book again.

“Convenient and comfortable for two”

Reviewed 26 Jun 2017

The one bedroom semi detached bungalow is central to Lochgoilhead and next to the pub, where you can park the car. Main heating is by storage heaters which need switching on on arrival so heat up overnight and provide heat the next day (cost included in the rental). Other electricity (extra heaters, hot water, shower etc), is via coin meter which uses old pound coins though has credit on arrival, we spent about £1 a day so very reasonable . Our main disappointment was that there was no remote for the DVD player/recorder so we were unable to continue with our box set. The kitchen was sparsely kitted out e.g. only a bread board no separate chopping board for meat etc. Large and comfortable bedroom. Very pleasant spot to sit outside to watch the loch and meet the friendly local people. Advise bringing main supplies as the main shop is a small Costcutter accros the Loch at Drymsynie chalet park, fine for essentials.
