Pretty comfortable cottage in tranquil setting with open views of the countryside and close to a pretty village and amenities.
An ideal location to explore the many places of interest or just relax and watch the wildlife and local buzzards.

La Petite Maison De Pommier is a traditional stone cottage with exposed beams, wooden floors and large fireplace. It has been sympathetically modernised to provide comfortable accommodation yet retain the character of the building. There is a large south facing patio area with outside furniture and Bar-B-Q leading onto a large garden. The property is in a small hamlet of 5 properties with open uninterrupted views across the countryside.

The cottage comprises of;
Ground floor
Large comfortable lounge with formal dining area to seat 6. Original stone fireplace with wood burning stove. TV with satellite freeview connection and DVD player. Feature wrought iron spiral staircase to upstairs bedrooms and shower room.

Modern country style kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, double sink and informal breakfast bar eating area to seat 6. Generously equipped with a comprehensive range of utensils, crockery and cutlery. Highchair available

Family bathroom with bath/shower over, basin and toilet. Washing machine

Hallway leading to bathroom with further wooden staircase to upstairs bedrooms and shower room. Shelving unit containing books, local information, maps, games and table football

All bedrooms have ample clothes storage and hanging space.

The property has gas central heating which also runs the hot water. In the lounge there is a wood burning stove, logs can be purchased locally or from the DIY stores. Guests are requested not to smoke in the cottage.

The cottage is part of the commune of Lonlay L'Abbaye, 2 miles, a pretty village with ancient Abbey and local bakers, butchers, bar, restaurant and mini-mart.
Flers and Domfront 8 and 6, miles both offering larger supermarkets and weekly markets. Bagnoles De L'Orne 15 miles, a beautiful spa town with casino, tennis and outdoor swimming pool.
