Description
This old house completely renovated is typical Selinunte's countryside; set amongst olive groves, with views over trees to the cost, this family villa in Sicily enhances rural charm with comfort and is within easy reach of beaches (only 2 kilometres).
This large estate consist of two villas, one owner's house, the other is Casa Melograno, both completely indipendent with its pool. The house, in addition of a stunning panoramic view, is nice and comfortable. Inside cool and calm interiors contrast with super-scenic views: its meant to be for a couple or a family that wants to relax and enjoy quiet atmosphere.
A cozy living room opens into a large kitchen and dining area, Two comfortable bedrooms both with individual bathrooms with shower complete the ground floor. The house has every modern comfort and is well furnished.
A staircase to one side leads up to the first floor with a small study room and one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.
Casa Melograno both from living room and from kitchen has direct access to the outside pergola, this covered terrace complete the ground floor with a wooden dining suite ideal for dining al fresco. Raised above its gardens, the house opens on to the lovely infinity pool in its country surrounds.

“Absolutely beautiful”
Nothing at all to say about dislikes - beautiful secluded villa in amazing countryside.Very friendly owner who we met whilst there . Clean spacious and very luxurious would be back in a heartbeat . Thankyou Casa Melograno we had the best holiday.

“Serene”
We were taken to the Villa ( Casa Melograno) by the agent Aldo , he was very friendly and helpful . Unfortantely did not meet owners they were away. We were two couples staying at Villa Melograno and there was plenty of room. The villa was spotlessly clean and very comfortable , photo's do not do it justist . The only thing it could have done with was a microwave, but otherwise well equipped .We had lovely barbeques over the suburb views and sunsets . It is very peaceful and set in beautiful gardens. The swimming pool is fantastic and plenty of comfortable loungers. We had about 20 minute drive for supplies which had a very good Supermarket just on the outskirts of Castelvetrano, And yes we would defanetly recommend Casa Melograno.

“A beautiful secluded villa”
We stayed in for 1 week as party of 5 (1 child), renting the whole villa. We were guided into the villa with the obliging help of the agent we booked through, as it is tucked away in the hills above Selinunte. That turns out to be a real part of the charm of this place, as it has beautiful views over the valley and amazing sunsets. The view is there while relaxing at the well sized and cleverly designed pool as well. All the facilities are really well thought out and up to date, everything we needed (inc mod cons) was there. There is a lovely veranda and barbeque for the evenings and a well tended garden area sloping away from the house. There is much to see in the surrounding area, we liked Selinunte ruins and Sciacca. There is a beach a short drive from the hotel which unlike the hotspots around was not too busy even in August. Thoroughly recommended...

“Stunning villa, can't recommend enough.”
We hired Casa Melograno for a week in Aug 14 for my Dad's 60th and I can't recommend it enough. The location is stunning and the pool is luxury. The villa is very well equipped and the layout of the bedrooms ensures privacy for a group (we were 3 couples). We were lucky that the owners were staying next door and were very helpful with local recommendations but it is just as easy to find great places to eat near by yourself. Sat nav is a must as there are a number of small roads leading to the villa but we were met and guided there by the very helpful Aldo on our first night despite arriving late in the evening. A trip to the local beach and nature reserve is recommended if you can bare to leave the pool! Will definitely be returning.
