Immortelle is an octagonal shaped wooden house nestled in beautiful, majestic tropical trees built on a 2-acre plot of land situated at the Grande Riviere river mouth.

Grande Riviere beach is a protected nesting ground for Giant Leatherback Turtles.

The house is built high off the ground. has 2 bedrooms and a loft. It is full y equipped for a wonderful family vacation, or just a quiet retreat.

The rainforest around the property is magical and the long tropical beach is inspiring.

It is a perfect spot for nature lovers and persons who want to get away from civilization for a few days.

Response from the owner I have to disagree with some of the comments provided by this guest. The house is over 12 years old, wood gets worn over time and that is the charm. The surrounding trees and shrubbery are deliberately left to hide the house from the beach. We and our guests love the privacy this affords. Comments about the sheets (brand new linens were bought 3 months ago) and towels (there are dozens of towels for the use of guests) - some may be worn and others are brand new. I will look into the comments about fridge and microwave though. Overall, I want to remind our visitors that this is a nature home, it is built to be harmonious with the surrounding nature. If you are looking for a pristine, concrete, airconditioned house with cable TV and internet this is not the place to stay. If you want to be in communion with the trees, birds and nature, Immortelle is for you. We have many guests who come back year after year and love the house and the proximity to the beach. This is actually the first ever negative review we have had in the 4 years we have been renting.
