“A Pleasant and Welcoming Stay” We Stayed here for 3 weeks with no Problems, as we all Know the Villa is spacious and the only thing i would have if possible would be a swimming pool but hey you can't have everything especially for the price Rae was giving us. On our arrival we were Picked up By Kevin and the trip to Sunset Ridge from the airport did not take to long , even giving us time to stop and Pick up a Rotti. On Our arrival we was met by the wonderful allyson and her daughter who showed us around , the accomadation is as it stated clean and Large. Trinidad is easy to get around and even though people told us to hire a car we decided to live like a Trinidadian and found no Problems getting around by Taxi or bus, as the five minute walk from the Villa to the Trunk road and waiting apprx 5 - 10 min before a taxi or bus pass's by. Will we stay again, Yes , already planning for next year. Its nice going to a place where you feel comftable, with the accomadation itself and the people you are renting it from. Allyson is a lovely lady and we had no problems with her punctuality on this trip or past trips and she always gave ideas of places to visit. The Master Bedroom was mine which has a balcony which i was on most nights and loving the views towards the San Fernando Hills. We loved our stay here without problems and this is our home away from home.

“A little piece of heaven” I stayed at Ixora Place for 15 luxurious days and actually became teary eyed when it was time to leave. I went in as a guest and left as a friend. I needed time to get away for some rest, relaxation, soul searching and healing and the combination of Christ-like love, respect, pampering, hospitality and excellent service extended by Clare was beyond my expectation. I believe God knew what I needed and sent me to the right place to enjoy a little piece of heaven. I received as a bonus, therapeutic sessions in the form of laughter as Clare candidly shared funny stories and jokes while cooking or doing her paperwork. Every meal was made daily from scratch down to the dressings and fruit juices she created with fresh fruits. Being a vegetarian, I watched Clare create all sorts of delicious dishes to satisfy my palate. I will not share some of the special amenities I received and enjoyed through Clare's and Gerry's kindness because I want to feel that they were done just for me, why, because I am special:-). I do believe that they treat and accommodate each guest in a unique way according to their needs and therefore in order to experience your special act of kindness, you must book a few nights at Ixora Place whenever you are looking for a comfortable and hospitable place to stay at a very reasonable rate. The location is great as well, close to the Piarco airport and arima marketplace. Clare and Gerry will get you anywhere you plan on going by providing transportation (low cost), giving easy-to-follow directions and ideas of places to visit during your stay. Oh, by the way, I had the opportunity to catch a few glimpses of the way Clare and Gerry manage Ixora Place as they "tag-teamed" to get things done which to me as an onlooker exuded a special warmth that will make anyone feel at home.
