Prime Ocean View Vacation Villa, San-Fernando

San Fernando villa

4 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 10

“A Pleasant and Welcoming Stay” We Stayed here for 3 weeks with no Problems, as we all Know the Villa is spacious and the only thing i would have if possible would be a swimming pool but hey you can't have everything especially for the price Rae was giving us. On our arrival we were Picked up By Kevin and the trip to Sunset Ridge from the airport did not take to long , even giving us time to stop and Pick up a Rotti. On Our arrival we was met by the wonderful allyson and her daughter who showed us around , the accomadation is as it stated clean and Large. Trinidad is easy to get around and even though people told us to hire a car we decided to live like a Trinidadian and found no Problems getting around by Taxi or bus, as the five minute walk from the Villa to the Trunk road and waiting apprx 5 - 10 min before a taxi or bus pass's by. Will we stay again, Yes , already planning for next year. Its nice going to a place where you feel comftable, with the accomadation itself and the people you are renting it from. Allyson is a lovely lady and we had no problems with her punctuality on this trip or past trips and she always gave ideas of places to visit. The Master Bedroom was mine which has a balcony which i was on most nights and loving the views towards the San Fernando Hills. We loved our stay here without problems and this is our home away from home.

“A little piece of heaven” I stayed at Ixora Place for 15 luxurious days and actually became teary eyed when it was time to leave. I went in as a guest and left as a friend. I needed time to get away for some rest, relaxation, soul searching and healing and the combination of Christ-like love, respect, pampering, hospitality and excellent service extended by Clare was beyond my expectation. I believe God knew what I needed and sent me to the right place to enjoy a little piece of heaven. I received as a bonus, therapeutic sessions in the form of laughter as Clare candidly shared funny stories and jokes while cooking or doing her paperwork. Every meal was made daily from scratch down to the dressings and fruit juices she created with fresh fruits. Being a vegetarian, I watched Clare create all sorts of delicious dishes to satisfy my palate. I will not share some of the special amenities I received and enjoyed through Clare's and Gerry's kindness because I want to feel that they were done just for me, why, because I am special:-). I do believe that they treat and accommodate each guest in a unique way according to their needs and therefore in order to experience your special act of kindness, you must book a few nights at Ixora Place whenever you are looking for a comfortable and hospitable place to stay at a very reasonable rate. The location is great as well, close to the Piarco airport and arima marketplace. Clare and Gerry will get you anywhere you plan on going by providing transportation (low cost), giving easy-to-follow directions and ideas of places to visit during your stay. Oh, by the way, I had the opportunity to catch a few glimpses of the way Clare and Gerry manage Ixora Place as they "tag-teamed" to get things done which to me as an onlooker exuded a special warmth that will make anyone feel at home. See below for a few pictures I took as mementos.

About Trinidad

Half of the tropical Caribbean paradise of Trinidad and Tobago belongs to Trinidad, an exciting vacation destination known for its carnival celebrations and its fun, festive atmosphere. Visitors from all over the world come to Trinidad every year to experience the world-class restaurants, unique music scene, and lively nightlife here. But Trinidad also offers an unforgettable vacation experience for nature lovers. This place is home to miles of preserved rainforest ecosystems, reef and marine habitats, and protected bird sanctuaries. Come here to trek the mountain trails to breathtaking ocean overlooks and stunning waterfalls. Snorkel and scuba dive in sheltered coves that offer a home to rare sea turtles and stingrays. And enjoy it all while staying in your own private vacation rental. Luxury vacation rentals in Trinidad are often less expensive than hotels and can offer the space you need to store your outdoor equipment and beach gear.

Wake up in the morning in your own beautiful beach condo and watch the sun rise over the ocean from your private balcony. Enjoy breakfast in your gourmet kitchen and then head downtown to explore the busy side streets. Spend the day on the beach, a golf course, hiking the mountain trails, or relaxing in a world class Trinidad spa. Then come home at night to your cabin or villa and host dinner for your family and friends.

Here are a few additional suggestions for your trip:

  • Visit the Pointe-a-Pierre Wildfowl Trust: This protected bird sanctuary offers a home to several rare species of resident and migratory water birds, including the Scarlet Ibis, Trinidad's national bird.
  • Visit the Mount St. Benedict Monastery: This peaceful mountain monastery offers tranquility, seclusion, and breathtaking views.
  • Visit the Asa Wright Nature Center: Located deep in the heart of the Trinidad rainforest, this nature center is dedicated to wilderness preservation and public education.
  • Visit the La Brea Pitch Lake: This 100 acre lake is largest of its kind in the world. The lake is a geological rarity that produces and releases asphalt from its depths.
  • Explore the Nariva Swamp: Another natural marvel of the island, this swamp is a diverse ecosystem teeming with rare birds and wildlife.
  • Go snorkeling in Pigeon Point Bay: Go snorkeling and scuba diving off the shores of this popular beach and see colorful fish, sea stars, and stingrays.

No matter what time of the year you plan your visit to Trinidad, you'll never run out of exciting things to do. You'll also have no trouble finding the perfect luxury condo or private ocean villa within easy reach of your favorite activities. While you're visiting Trinidad, schedule time to explore Tobago as well, and be sure to visit other Caribbean destinations like Nevis and St. Kitts.

Paradise Villa, Paramin, Trinidad & Tobago
So happy we found this place for our Christmas getaway vacation.

Over the Christmas break, my family and I (a party of 6 adults and 2 kids) had the pleasure of staying at the Paradise Villa. We choose the Paradise Villa for 2 reasons. One, because of the location and breathtaking views, and two, because of how large the vacation home is and the fact that it would be able accommodate a large group. I must say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From day one, Eleanor went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly, that our expectations were met, and more importantly that we enjoyed our stay. We were greeted at the airport and came home to a nice homemade Trinidadian dinner. We arrived around midnight and therefore were not able to see the roads or hills or the beautiful landscape as we traveled to the villa. However, when we woke up the next morning, we were all in total awe of how amazingly beautiful Trinidad is. The views from the location of this vacation home cannot to explained with words. It is something you must see for yourself and although the photos provided in the listing did give us a taste of what to expect, they truly do not give justice to how beautiful it is!!!. But it didn't end there. As we became familiar with the windy hills, we also became more adventurous and were able to discover some more hidden gems that were less than a mile away from the villa. The villa was equipped with everything we needed. If we were ever in need of anything extra, from directions, to places out in town, more supplies, advice or whatever, Eleanor was only a phone call away and she literally came running to any of our needs. She even offered to personally drive us to places since the vehicle we rented couldn’t accommodate my entire family. She also gave my mother, sister and grandmother a personal tour around the northern part of the island, which they totally enjoyed. Because of a previous review, we were initially a bit concerned about the hills. And yes, getting up to the villa is an adventure in itself, but it is truly worth it. We rented a 4x4 Dodge pickup truck and had absolute no issues maneuvering up and down the hills. The last thing I would add is that we felt very safe the entire time we were there. The people of Paramin were super nice and always waived hello whenever we drove by. It’s either everyone was in the Christmas spirit or everyone there is just really nice. Maybe a little of both. :)see more

Millennium Park Trincity Vacation Home
Great home away from home

My friends and I stayed at the Millennium Park Trincity vacation home for carnival 2017. It was not close to the carnival events but hiring a driver to take us around was an easy fix. This gated community is very quiet and we felt really safe returning home in the evening after the carnival fetes. Millennium Park was truly a home away from home. It came with a well equipped kitchen that could handle any meal preparation, AC throughout to battle the hot Caribbean days and spacious living quarters with Cable TV and high-speed internet. It was our preference to clean up after ourselves (there is extra linen and towels and a washer and dryer) so there was no maid service during our 10 day stay. If you don't mind walking, (be careful navigating the roundabout) you can easily walk to the nearby Super Pharm or Trincity Mall to buy groceries or visit the much talked about KFC. The rental process was easy and Nicholas the owner did a wonderful job of communicating with me. Though Nicholas was not on Island, his property manager Natalie and her husband were exceptional. She made sure that I knew how everything in the home worked and most impressive she made lots of ice for us since the ice maker was broken. She and her husband are great people and made us feel welcomed from the moment we met. We had a great stay at this vacation home and would definitely visit again and highly recommend it to others.see more

PERFECT STAY! LOVELY HOST!

Four of us booked 3 rooms at this house and stayed for one week in Feb 2017. Our host, Glenda, was extremely friendly and like our family, from day 1.....she had lovely breakfasts and lunches prepared for us sometimes, and even played mas with us in Carnival on the road! The house is well appointed, lacking nothing! Our bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and clean, the house is veru secure, with laundry, wifi, full kitchen, etc. I would LOVE to stay here again and recommend it for any traveller going to Trinidad. Thank you Glenda for your warm hospitality! We miss you already.see more
