St. John, USVI, Blue Agave Villa, 4 bedroom, dazzling sea view, pool, Cruz Bay

Cruz Bay villa

4 bedrooms / 4 bathrooms / sleeps 9

“Awesome View” We spent a week at the Blue Agave with 3 other couples. The set up was perfect as each couple had their own private bedroom and bath. When choosing a house for our vacation our main concerns was having master suites for all couples. Three of the suites had king beds and the fourth bedroom had a queen. That was all perfect. The other main concern was having a home that had a covered deck so we all would not crisp. Well this house was excellent for shade. There was a beautiful spacious deck with pool and lots of covered space so that no one had to sit in the sun unless they wanted to be. There were two tables under the shade area so plenty of room to eat any meals outside while enjoying the beautiful view. Always a nice cool breeze outside under the covered veranda area. We enjoyed watching the sugar birds come and go. Very entertaining. We put sugar on a plastic plate and set it on a post and had constant entertainment from the sugar birds. We would enjoy renting this home again if we should ever get back to St. John.

East End apartment

“Outstanding Condo, Location, and Amenities” The condo was spacious with excellent appliances, furnishings, and amenities. Sherry was a fantastic host; she provided all the information we needed to enjoy our 2 week stay at Cowpet Bay West. The adjacent pool and beach were excellent. The on-site restaurants were convenient and provided great meals. We will definitely return to this condo for our next stay on St. Thomas.

“Incredible Getaway” This is a great place to stay when vacationing in St. Thomas. Max is an incredible host and generously shares her home and her knowledge of the islands. Rent a car if you don't like trekking up the hill, but we made it okay without one.

Coral Bay Eco Retreat:Tropical Living Off the Grid, Hike to Beach!

Coral Bay cottage

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 2

“Self-contained, off-the-grid mountaintop luxury with a view” Anyone who thinks living off the grid requires sacrifice of comfort clearly hasn't stayed here. Your water is provided by the rain. Your electricity is provided by the sun. A huge deck, cushy living spaces with beds in open air... windows? There aren't any. Shower? Outside. Yes, the toilets flush. And the view is a never-ending masterpiece of sea and sky. Complete privacy here on the mountain top. No neighbors.. except for an occasional island donkey. If you like quiet, romantic places, this is it. The stairs up are steep so if you can't climb, don't come here. But if you can climb stairs, you need to try this place, one of the cheapest luxuries on St. John. and one of the most powerful boosts for the soul one can imagine.

“Well maintained, quality furnished condo with very helpful owner.” We have stayed in several different condos @ Sapphire Beach in several different price ranges. John's is by far the best maintained despite it not being the highest end priced. It also has a great bar/eating area on the lower deck. Renting from John is like renting from a friend or family member. There were no surprises from John other than I had over paid without realizing & he contacted me to let me know he was sending me a check.

Top 10 Reasons to Stay at Our Place in Sapphire

East End apartment

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“Home away From Home” This condo was the perfect choice for our stay in St. Thomas. It was close to everything; the beach, shopping and recreation, yet it was quiet and private. The place worked well with our family of four. There was a private bedroom and two full size futons in the living room for the kids. The pool was not crowded with the Sapphire Grill a bonus we didn't expect. We ended up having lunch by the pool a few times. The snorkeling at Sapphire Beach was outstanding. We will definitely stay here again.

East End house

“Can't wait to go back!” Of the several places I've staying on St. Thomas (and St. Croix) the past year, this is the best. I loved all the thoughtful touches: comfy, LONG chaises; lovely pool; beautiful balcony; fantastic, well-appointed kitchen and bath; extra towels, linens, and bathrobes! Everything was spotless. The pool was kept clean. The winds keep the mosquitoes away. Completely quiet but restaurants, supermarket, etc. all easy to get to. Very caring owners and the whole experience was professional but very kind. Loved it!

Villa Mirino, Ocean front, Intimate East End Home

East End villa

“Beyond Expectations” I would not stay anywhere else on the island. The house itself is in immaculate condition with huge sliding glass doors in every room allowing for amazing views of the Caribbean from every room. I loved waking up to the breathtaking sunrise every morning and the house's beautiful décor encourages complete relaxation. Whether watching TV, playing Xbox/Playstation or listening to music via the surround sound system, it felt like our every whim was met. The kitchen is stocked with gourmet appliances and cookware which made my ability to create fantastic meals for us easy and fun. When we tired of laying by the pool, the beach was less than a mile away and the Red Hook night life was right down the street. This villa is truly one of the premier locations on the island. I cannot wait for the next trip back

“Super comfortable condo, excellent value, owners thought of everything” We stayed at this Sapphire Bay condo this February for a week and it was paradise. It is on THE best beach in the Virgin Islands. Everything about the condo is perfect including the bed, which was so comfortable we wish we had it at home. The owners have provided all the comforts of home. The kitchen is so we'll appointed we were able to cook gourmet meals and have friends over and have dinner parties at the elegant no generous sized dining table. The a ir conditioning worked well. The View from condo was absolutely gorgeous. The location was the best- Close to stores, beach, marina... Everything! This is a great vale (I hope owners don't raise rates reading this because we want to come back next year, but the price makes it an incredible value) 10 stars for this rental

Villa in Paradise w/Private Pool! Walk to beach!

East End villa

“Perfect vacation in St Thomas” Spent end of January, beginning of February at Laverne's place in Pavilions and Pools. Everything was perfect. The condo was clean and very comfortable. It was great having your own pool just outside the door. The property was quiet and peaceful and We really enjoyed our stay here. The girls at the front desk, the maintenance people, everyone at the facility were extremely friendly and very responsive to any of our requests. Vicars, the on site restaurant was excellent. If you go there, order the steamed mussels appetizer. It was fabulous. Every morning there are bagels, muffins, cereal, juice and coffee if you don't feel like making your own breakfast. We also used the grill to cook a few steaks during our stay. The only slight drawback was the walk to the beach, it was approximately 5 minutes long, but seemed worse if you are carrying beach chairs, towels, etc. However, once you get to the beach the walk was worth it. Sapphire Beach is a really nice beach, with changing and rest room facilities and a vendor (Banana Bar) that serves sandwiches, drinks etc. From the beach it's a short walk to the Marina where you can see the Tarpon & Barracudas swimming in the clear waters. Red hook was a great area for restaurants or a trip to St Johns and it's only a few minutes away. We did not have a car and didn't need one. The Safari taxis stop right in front of the hotel, and regular taxis are not that expensive and easy to find. Don't miss the fiddle player at Latitude 18 on the other side of the Red Hook Harbor.

Coral Bay cottage

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 3

“A great place to stay!” Engaging with Judy Kane right from the start was fantastic. Her sage advice on how best to prepare for our trip with hints as to where to shop, car rentals, ferries and what to expect once we arrived let us know we had landed with a winner. She is a delight; fun loving, outgoing and concerned without being overbearing. The cottage is charming, better in person than the photos on line. It's breathtaking to sit on the deck with mountains that surround you. Birds are everywhere. We spent quite a bit of time reading, enjoying the scenery. The house itself is well stocked with every kind of device you might wish for - TV, DVD player, internet connection, books, games and even iPod speakers. The amount of information Judy has accumulated - a mammoth loose leaf filled with news clippings and articles along with books published about the area - provided us with recommendations for activities to keep us delighted. Each day, we struck out to a different beach to discover new sea life and coral formations we never would have found on our own. Having a car is a must. Judy made that clear to me. We were concerned about driving on the left and the narrow roads. It isn't for the faint of heart, but if you drive slowly and ignore the locals who might honk at you, you will soon adapt. I felt like I was on a freeway by the time I drove in St. Thomas to get back to the airport. I can't wait to return next year. St. John never disappoints me and Lower Carolina makes it even more alluring.

Luxury Honeymoon Suite/ Wifi/ Gated/ Privacy/ Private Pool/ Hot Tub

East End apartment

1 bedroom / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 4

“Best Place On Earth!!” Where do I begin... My husband and I were on our honeymoon. Dana and Jason were the best hosts-they gave you privacy, but if you need assistance they were always there to help. They made us feel at home in the HarmonySuite with happy smiles and open arms. We were given breakfast every morning-tastes of the Island foods- DELICIOUS ; ) It was amazing to see the iguanas that would come up to the deck to visit. The rooms were well-kept and well-stocked Dana and Jason have everything at your hands. The pictures don't lie the VIEWS were phenomenal-(I think I have a billion pictures of just the view) It was awesome to wake up and come home every day to the spectacular views. The pool/cabana and hot tub were extra touches to this fantastic getaway and are exclusively for your enjoyment . The people on the island are the best so sweet, helpful, and genuine-always great to be around, the beaches are jaw dropping we never wanted to get out- recommending COKI BEACH/ MAGENS BAY and night life was amazing recommending DUFFY'S LOVE SHACK/ SENOR FROGS (RED HOOK) all of this plus much more all located about 6-8 minutes away (car recommended). Can't wait to go back to the best place on earth!! Dana & Jason we love you, Thank You for making our honeymoon a time to remember forever..God Bless

“Awesssooommmeee” Was reluctant to write this review, because didn't want other people renting possible time, I might rent again. It was the most relaxing time,I have ever had in ST.Thomas, the view was breathtaking,as much as I love ST.Thomas,i never wanted to leave Cabrite point, was never in a hurry to do anything or go anywhere , perfect place to experience, what they refer to has island time.I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get away from the daily grind, lay back and relax and enjoy the view as well as the trade winds ,you won't regret it, my only regret was that we had to leave after 3 weeks , next time will book it for a month

Get the view. Get the pool. Get the serenity. Get the beauty of St. Croix!

Christiansted apartment

2 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 4

“Wow!” We had a great time in St. Croix -- went on the Salt River tour with Bush Tribe and over to Buck Island with Captain Heinz -- really enjoyed both! Rest of the time spent relaxing, reading, touring the island, some shopping. The weather was great, lots of sun, gentle breeze, beautiful sunrises and sunsets... Ate dinner at Duggan's (right down the road) the night before we left -- fresh tuna, mahi, lobster -- delicious! We've rented a number of places on various islands and I have to say Eden by the Sea is among the best. Lovely views, the pool and beach, a restaurant on-site, convenient location. The condo is beautifully decorated, well-laid out with the 2 floors and 2 balconies, 2 bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths offering plenty of space and privacy. The beds are very comfortable. It's so well equipped and everything works. I can't think of anything to change or add... Wow!! Our time here flew by, would stay longer than a week next time. Julie, the owner, answered all our questions, made suggestions, had a binder chock full of information in the condo -- very helpful. We're sure to come back to Eden by the Sea. Thanks!!!

About U.S. Virgin Islands

The U.S. Virgin Islands lie in the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean and include popular vacation destinations like St. Thomas and St. Croix. During all four seasons of the year, visitors flock here for exotic family vacations, or to experience a wedding or honeymoon in the Virgin Islands. There's no better place to escape from the bustle of everyday life and relax on an endless strip of sugary white sand.

The best way to enjoy everything the islands have to offer is by staying in your own private luxury vacation rental. Most vacation rentals in the Virgin Islands are less expensive than hotels and offer all the space you need to store your outdoor equipment and beach gear. Wake up each morning and watch the sun rise over the ocean from the balcony of your beach villa. Then head downtown for shopping, world-class dining, and fascinating local museums and historic sites. Spend the afternoon on a golf course or steaming in a luxury spa. Spend the morning on the beach and then hike the beautiful inland forest trails of the area's parks and nature preserves. At night, head home to your spacious condo rental and host dinner for your family and friends.

Here are a few additional suggestions for your trip:

  • Go scuba diving: Head into the dazzling underwater reef ecosystems to see color fish, turtles, and stingrays.
  • Take a dinner cruise with Scubadu: This luxury 40-foot sailboat offers gourmet dinner cruises. Raise a glass on the deck as the sun sets over the Caribbean.
  • Go hiking and snorkeling in Watermelon Cay: Hike the trails and snorkel in the tranquil bay of this secluded Virgin Islands National Park.
  • Play on the beach: Cinnamon Bay and Honeymoon Beach are two of the most popular beach destinations in the Virgin Islands. Swim, surf, or just lie in the sand and soak up the sun.
  • Take a dolphin watching cruise: Take a charter boat trip into the deep water for a close encounter with these amazing marine animals.

No matter what kinds of activities you have in mind for your vacation, you'll find what you're looking for in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Book a vacation rental within a few steps of the beach, then unwind, reconnect, and start creating fun vacation memories. If you have some extra time to explore, consider exploring the British Virgin Islands as well.

Relaxing, lovely, clean and comfortable

We had a wonderful time! The beach is down the road a 5-10 minute walk. Bring good rubber shoe footwear. The food at nearby restaurants is excellent. Meals are slow service, on “Island time”. A few of our crew booked scuba diving excursion to the Frederiksted pier and they also enjoyed Sandy Beach State Park, which had nice sand. The larger town, Christiansted is much nicer and the fort is very interesting, and for $5 you can hop a ride over to a small island beach. We also really loved visiting the botanical garden!!!see more
Sea Dreams
Serenity in the USVI!

My wife and I were looking for some peace and quiet to enjoy our 25th wedding anniversary and we sure found it at Sea Dreams. Located literally at the end of the road on the west side of the island, we enjoyed a very relaxing vacation and some amazing snorkeling. The 1 bedroom condo was spacious and clean and had everything e needed to stay in for the whole time if we wanted to. We made over half of our meals in - why go out when you got that amazing patio/sun room/breezeway. We almost never left it. Peace and tranquility. Some of the best snorkeling in the island was literally 100ft off our beach area. We traveled all over the island to try and the best snorkeling spots, but mostly just loved walking out our door and right into the ocean - amazing. The large bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed and we both slept very well. The air conditioning in the bedroom was a huge plus. The on site supervisors (Mark and Kim)were amazing. They helped us continuously during our stay. The owner Kirsten was easily accessible via text during our entire stay and was very flexible to our needs. We will be back again for sure!see more
BEAUTIFUL Beachfront Condo, Elysian Beach Resort, East End
A slice of Paradise

This Condo was perfect. Three couples who have been best friends for years came to ST Thomas to celebrate 2 of our guys turning 60. The grounds are immaculate, the upkeep of the buildings is outstanding. The pool is beautiful. We were visited by a couple of Iguanas on one of our pool days. You can still hear the surf from the pool chairs, which is nice if you dont feel like getting sandy. The beach was just right. There were chairs for everyone and a nice breeze blowing so it never got too hot or muggy. The condo itself is clean and well appointed. Two of the couples shared the room with the queen beds. The beds were comfy and the room comfortable. There is a murphy bed in the living area that looks very comfortable as well. My husband and I chose to use the third bathroom by the washer and dryer. There is no door to shut off the sink/mirror area so be sure your friends know not to check laundry when you are taking a shower. A curtain across the entry to the area would be a good idea. We were able to cook fish from our fishing trip on several nights. We made a few taxi trips to the Food Center for groceries. It's a good store for the basics and a bottle of wine or the spirit of your choice. We only ate out a few times, choosing to save our funds for adventure. If you want to eat dinner at The Fish Market make reservations. The food and service are very good. It's also a good place to get a margarita on the beach. The air conditioning works very quickly if the room gets stuffy. No need to leave it running when you are gone. We ate dinners on the deck usually enjoying a nice breeze. The owners are great communicators. The building was installing a generator so our water and electricity were off for a few hours on 2 separate occassions. It was always very early in the morning and we were always given a days notice. The internet works well, however none of our phones had a great signal. Truly a nice quiet place to escape.see more

Outstanding outdoor living space

We had the privilege of staying for the month of February. Several days we never left. The pool area is very comfortable and you can’t find many better views. The back sunroom with the doors open was incredibly relaxing. As far as I know there is no Cabrita beach but if you put that in your gps it will get right by the house. Very private. I assume the boaters going by wondered who was lucky enough to stay there. Hope to return again. Dale & Hollysee more
