Self contained cottage in Mells, one of the most unspoilt villages in the west. Lovely stone architecture, beamed bedroom, dining room, personal library, blissful countryside and just 300 yards from our awarding-winning village pub The Talbot Arms. Close to glorious Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge, Longleat, the Dorset coast and North Devon plus, for fans, the Harry Potter film locations at Lacock.

“Beautiful quaint cottage in the picturesque village of Mells.”
The quaint thatched cottage in Mells is perfectly located for visiting the nearby towns and villages of Frome, Wells and Brunton - you also have within an hour’s drive the cities of Bath and Bristol and not too far away the Dorset coast. The owners Rob and Maggie are lovely hosts and have lots of good advice about where to visit and eating out. If you are visiting the Bath’s Roman baths, check out visiting just before dusk as it’s an amazing atmosphere. Lovely cottage for a couple whether you want to stay local (Mells walled garden cottage cafe is a must) - or if you prefer to stay local - Rob has an amazing collection of books to read in the study! “Lovely cottage the hosts have thought of everything.”
It is a great village to have as a base with a lovely pub. Easy access to popular places in Somerset like Bath and Glastonbury. Very well equipped cottage which was clean and comfortable.
