Loved this barn, warm & comfortable with stylish decor

Left on Feb 07, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

The layout of this barn was carefully considered, a really lovely place. It had the wow factor, the under floor heating, the lighting & all the finishing touches. I'm very fussy & it met all my standards. I especially loved the views, unspoilt across the countryside, peacefully situated. with local walks. I loved that there was a welcome home baked cake, & everything for a cup of tea or coffee. …

Cottage Rental with Homespun Charm

Left on Jul 21, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We spent 6 nights in this rental. It felt as though we were staying in a cottage home, not a rental cottage. It is 200-400 years old. And the quaintness and quirks to go with it. We did not want a sterile, "do-over", it is not. The wood beams, step down kitchen, attic bedroom with sloped ceilings made us feel we were back in time. The good-sized bathroom and complete kitchen were welcome …
