The Bed & Breakfast / apartment is situated on a hill in the centre of Pousafoles, a small, quiet, peaceful, typical Portuguese farmer village in the middle of a beautiful wine-district. Here you feel as if time stood still for over 20 years and you can enjoy the basics of life.

This beautifully newly renovated spacious 70m2 apartment sleeps 4 persons. There is one bedroom with 2 single beds and a cosy sleeping loft with privacy blinds with 2 single beds, a fully equiped kitchen, a private bathroom with shower and toilet and a private, secluded, roof-terrace surrounded by beautiful views. The main entrance leads on to a small court yard where you find the entrance to the apartment with private key. There is television, free Wifi (free because of the rural area we can only offer 3G, which is not fast). Also final cleaning is included in price.

The apartment is heated by an easy in use pelletburner. The first time the fire will be filled which is included in the price and will give heat for about 10 hours. If you might need more pellets you may buy pellets with me for Euro 5,- per bag.

Towels are provided and your beds are ready and made before your arrival so you can immediately start and enjoy your holiday :)

People walking their goats and sheep through the village and are looking after their vineyards and wine. In the village is a small pub / shop for the basic necessities. Every morning the baker brings fresh bread at the front door. Twice a week you can also buy fresh fish- and vegetables at the door.

From our village it is only a 5km drive to Miranda do Corvo. In this village there are several supermarkets, more than 15 restaurants and pubs, a weekly market, an animal park (Parque Biologico) with the Portuguese flora and fauna, a beautiful outdoor pool with nice restaurant and a horse riding center.

The Apartment is only 15 minutes away by car from Coimbra the fourth-largest city of Portugal. At the city's highest point, you will find the prestigious University of Coimbra and its majestic 18th Century library. Lisbon 1 1/2 hours drive, Porto 1 hour and 45 min., beach 35 min., Conimbriga 15 min., Fatima 40 min., Bucaco 35 min., Tomar 45 min., Serra de Estrela 1 hour.
