Description
VILLA PORTAKAL, Mordogan
Mordogan (ancient Mimas) is a recently popular resort town 88 km west of Izmir on the Turkish Aegean coast. It is easily accessible after one and a half hour drive from Adnan Menderes International Airport.
Mordogan with its untouched nature and pristine clean sea is a place to live in peace and health, basking under a warm sun, inhaling the fresh breeze of the sea embalmed with the aroma of daffodils, wild artichokes, bergamot, olive and palm trees and eating a local cuisine crowned with sea food like no other.
Villa Portakal is a luxurious triplex just a hundred meters off the long and sandy Ardic (Ardeech) beach. The villa has magnificent views not blocked by other buildings. Yet, a large lawn garden and pine trees and natural stone wall around its periphery provide needed privacy.
The villa has a 75 m2 footprint and an elevation of 3 floors above a basement. Total interior area is 210 m2 excluding 90 m2 of patio / terrace / balcony area.
The villa was built with insulation against heat, humidity and noise. Glazing is double glass on PVC frame with fly screens and sun blinds. The largest six sun blinds are electrically driven. High quality ceramic sanitary ware were used in the bathrooms.
By the villa is a 5m x 10m x 1,7m fully equipped private swimming pool with umbrellas and sun beds, refreshment seating and a curtain tent with a wide swing seat and a ping-pong table. There is also a lawn table and a grill set for garden barbecue banquet.
Each floor is surrounded on three sides by a patio, a balcony or a terrace with ample seating.. The roof terrace on the top floor overlooking to a magnificent view, is ideal for having a dinner or an evening cocktail at sunset.
The ground floor has a large saloon with seating and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen and a bath room. The seating area of the saloon is made of sofa and couches placed around a large coffee table facing a chic fireplace. A large flat screen TV is mounted on the wall above the fireplace and a CD/DVD player sits on a console to the right. The dining area is made of a square dining table and chairs overlooking the garden and the pool. A powerful 50,000 BTU standalone space air conditioner may either cool or heat the saloon. The kitchen is equipped with a large refrigerator, a dishwasher, a microwave and other modern kitchen appliances and tools, as well as utensils, cutlery and porcelain and glass kitchenware.
There are 3 bedrooms on the mid floor : A large one with a double king bed overlooking wide windows with a view, and two smaller ones, one with a double bed and another one with two single beds . All bedrooms have ceiling fans and a baby crib can be placed in any bedroom as needed.. A spacious bathroom with “power jet massaging shower” equipment is also provided on this floor.
The top floor of the villa is very much like a “penthouse apartment”, with its own double bed bedroom, saloon with integrated kitchen and bathroom. There is a wide flat TV set and a large traditional cuisine stove in the saloon. The 'penthouse' opens up to a huge roof terrace with a magnificent view ideal for a wonderful barbecue dinner or an evening cocktail at sunset.
The basement floor has (i) a real sauna for up to five people and showers, (ii) a small gym with various fitness equipment and (iii) a music room for the talented guest, complete with various musical instruments, microphone, 2 x 600 Watt loudspeakers, a digital battery set and perfect noise insulation. In this floor there is also a laundry room complete with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board etc.
