Description
Anchor Barn is located in the beautiful North Norfolk village of Morston - a few quiet lanes, a cluster of flint cottages and a 12th century church. It is just half a mile from the larger village of Blakeney which has a mini-supermarket, delicatessen, fishmonger and other amenities. The world famous beaches of Wells and Holkham, seen in Shakespeare in Love are just 15 mins west, while the stunning reed marshes and beaches of Cley and Salthouse, home to a great variety of birds and seen recently in The Duchess, are just 5 minutes East. There are many excellent places to eat including a great village pub, and the Michelin starred Morston Hall.
The barn benefits from a large fully equipped bespoke kitchen which leads through into the sitting room with three sofas and log burning stove. It has huge sliding doors opening out onto a lovely sun trap courtyard garden which is an ideal place to relax all year round. All the bedrooms are extremely comfortable, attractively furnished, light and airy.
