Description

This comfortable ground floor apartment is situated in a private and tranquil gated domain. The domain consists of 11 acres with beautiful grounds, mature shrubs, olive and eucalyptus trees. The apartment has its own private garden with a lovely oleander hedge on one side. It is south west facing so catches the sun most of the day.

A small supermarket and bakery are just outside the gates. Several good restaurants, a larger bakery and coffee shop and pharmacy are within walking distance. The stunning village of old Mougins with its superb restaurants is a few minutes drive away as is Tournamy the commercial centre of Mougins.

Further inland there are pretty hills with perched villages against a backdrop of the Alps. Plenty of country parks for picnics and long walks. 10 minutes drive from Cannes. There is a regular bus to Cannes about 2-3 minutes away. In July and August there is a free bus to Mougins old village from outside the bakery in St Basile.

The living/dining room opens on to a terrace and private garden, which has a large table and 8 chairs and an electric awning. There are four bedrooms sleeping a total of seven adults and one child. The principal bedroom has a double bed and en suite bathroom, with a full bath, a shower attachment, washbasin and a WC.

Both the second and third bedrooms each have two single beds; the second bed in each bedroom is stored under the top bed and can be joined together to make a double.
The fourth bedroom also has two single beds and the second bed is suitable for a child. One of the bedrooms has French windows leading onto its own small terrace. The second, third and fourth bedroom have fitted wardrobes.

There are two separate shower rooms one with a WC and there is a separate WC, making there in all.

The kitchen is open- plan and adjoins the living/dining room. It is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, two fridges and a small freezer. There is a TV/DVD player and a radio/CD player. The dining table has 6 chairs. There are two comfortable sofas in the living room and two armchairs.

There is an internet connection.

In the grounds there is a 25 meter shared pool - (with security railings), and there are two tennis courts, a games room with table- tennis and also a boules area. The parkland is planted with Mediterranean flowers, shrubs and mature trees including, olives, acacias, Eucalyptus, pines, oleanders, lavender and rosemary.

There are extensive grassy areas with shady trees, particularly near the pool. There are full time gardeners and a resident caretaker who ensure that this gated domain is beautifully maintained all year round.

“very spacious apartment with everything you need in a very nice complex with an amazing large pool.”

We stayed for 12 nights and it was an absolutely amazing holiday. We were traveling with two kids - 3 yrs old and a baby. The apartment has tons of separate rooms and a lot of washrooms. This is very helpful for us as we could use one for kids and one for each of us. The kitchen has everything you need. The private backyard was very nice and the grounds the unit is on are lovely. The pool is absolutely huge and the people who are there are nice and interesting. The area is great because Mougins itself is beautiful town and then you can quite easily drive to Nice, Monaco, Cap St Jean Ferrat or any of the surrounding coastal villages. I also really liked how there is a useful grocery store and restaurant within a five minute walk from the place. All in all I would recommend this place for families or groups of people.
