Description

Our villa is furnished to a high standard and offers peace and tranquillity to those who don't want noise, yet it is only 30yds from the nearest pool and the main shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The property has four terraces: one with an electric barbecue and another being suitable for secluded sunbathing, affording absolutely stunning views of La Manga Club and the sea.

On the ground floor, the spacious entrance hall leads into an open plan lounge and dining area with L shaped sofa, LCD television with English and European satellite channels, dvd/cd player and air conditioning/heating. The TV also has connections for a laptop computer. Sliding glass doors open onto the main terrace with table, chairs and built in barbeque space with electric barbeque. The kitchen is equipped with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Off the dining area, a tower with spiral staircase leads up to the roof terrace with stunning views of the resort and the Mar Menor beyond. The tower also leads down to the bedroom level. On the lower ground floor, both bedrooms are large and airy with twin beds and wall mounted LCD television. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. From this bedroom, French doors lead out to the gardens, lower terrace and pools. The second bedroom has a shower room adjacent to it with washbasin, toilet, washing machine and tumble dryer. The property has air-conditioning/heating and ceiling fans throughout. All linen is included. Internet WiFi included.

Very enjoyable stay, villa is in a very good location, with own pools in own gardens that are quiet and relaxed. All sports, restaurants, shops and other La Manga Club facilities accessible by a walk / run and/or short drive. Everything you need.

“Lovely holiday - should have booked 10 days rather than just 7”

From booking to arriving I cannot fault the Gilpins. Loads of information sent re the apartment and how to get there. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. We were a stones throw from a lovely pool and a short walk from the nearest supermarket. It was relaxed, quiet and just what we needed. There were at least three more pools only metres away not that we needed them. I would advise that you do need a hire car as eating on the Club site was pretty pricey but there are plenty of restaurants within 15 mins drive. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this apartment and may well go back again next year.

“Great place to relax”

This villa was probably the ideal choice for our family searching for a calm and relaxed place with a dry climate and the sea access. We could let the older kids play around the villa while the little one was sleeping. What we enjoyed the most was returning from a beach in the evening and have a few hours of fresh air with magnificent view and a glass of wine on the terrace at the 2nd floor. Several pools were available within a walking distance. One other thing to mention is the amount of little household items that were available to use and made our life easier - olive oil, tea and coffee, sugar and salt, spices and even some charcoal for the BBQ. We enjoyed our holiday and will closely compare any other place for vacation in the future to this villa.
