Description
For lovers of greenery and a countryside environment in the heart of the city, if you love your morning tea/coffee in the open garden, with chirping of birds; if you love waking up to the crowing of a rooster and finally if you love to meet a professional friendly couple who are also authors, this place is for you.
Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.
It is located in South Delhi and is 3 km from Saket Metro station (Yellow Line)
The house is 2 km away from the main road and it is pollution free. There is no atmospheric pollution nor noise pollution. The only sounds you hear are associated with nature, birds and sometimes barking of a dog or two. At times you may also spot a Neel Gai (blue bull) or a peacock dancing in your waking hours, within or just outside the premises.
Apart from your bedroom and ensuite bathroom and dresser; you have free access to the lounge & TV room and gym, on the lower level, having access to the garden. We have a treadmill, exerciser bike, gym ball and a twister; and a toilet attached to this area. The dining and sitting area is on the Upper Ground Floor that has access to a high lawn. The hosts are available if you wish to socialize.
If you like special foods, there are myriad places from where you can order the cuisine of your choice for home delivery, that include chains like McDonald's, Burger King, Kareem (of Jama Masjid fame), Dominos, Sagar Ratna, Pizza Hut, Nirula etc. If you wish to partake of home cooked vegetarian or non-vegetarian lunch or dinner these can be arranged at Rs. 600 per head, on advance information.
Saket is the closest market and mall area, having the best-voted mall in Delhi. There are quite a few historic and places of tourist interest in South Delhi, not too far from Sainik Farms, viz, Qutub Minar, Garden of 5-senses, Tuglaqabad Fort, DDA Sports Complex, Qutub (Kutub) Golf Course. Two super specialty hospitals are within 2km of the gate of the colony. Ambulance availability is within 0.5km of the location and can be summoned by phone.
As we are not on the main road and are in an open area of farmhouses. Public transport is not around the corner - however, private cabs are available by a phone call. The in-house phone is available free for local calls. Ola & Uber are also conveniently accessible and mostly you can get a cab less about 10 minutes. If you have driven in your own car/vehicle to our place, you will be given free parking within our premises. Saket malls are close by, 3 multi-screen complexes (PVR & DT cinemas), wonderful and best malls and restaurants are in this area.
