“Immaculate and gorgeous "home away from home" cottage in Lake Pl” We had an amazing stay! Go-cottage, 2 bedroom was great and I felt like I was at home. The owner has a keen eye and excellent taste for design. Perfect location for Lake Placid horse show and other activities that we did such as hiking and biking. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it to all of my friends.

“This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “great time,great hosts” We only stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful chalet for our ski trip with my 16 year old son and boyfriend. The cottage was in a great location,was very clean and cozy. We didn't see our hosts Mike and Mini,but through our conversations they were really very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the stay tremendously and will recommend to friends and hopefully will visit again in near future.

“Perfect for a relaxing weekend!” Joe and Pat's cottage is great! The cottage was very clean, well-maintained and well-equipped. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend - in the winter, so I can't comment on the water fun but I'll bet it's great! I can say the fireplace worked just perfectly. Joe and Pat are great to work with and were extremely helpful with information about restaurants and various activities in the Finger Lakes. We certainly hope to be back again - maybe when it's warmer and we can take advantage of the beautiful lakefront area at the cottage. Thanks for sharing your great cottage, Joe and Pat!

“Comfort of home - epitome of a "getaway"” I would highly reccomend this cabin. It has ALL the emmenities a cityslicker family like ours could dream of, while being immeresed in a secluded (but not eerily so) woodsy location. Throughout or stay, I felt as though our family were guests in a friend's home. Everything was updated, fully-functional and all around top-notch. House was quite large - so large that our family of four regreted not bringing grandma along to hang out w/ the kids so mom & dad could have some grown-up hiking adventures. I can't wait to come visit again.

“Lake Placid Lifestyle” We've stayed here several times in the past, and have reservations for a week in October. Great location - a 4 block walk (over a hill) to Lake Placid's Main Street for restaurants and shopping. 2 bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, a small balcony, nice Adirondack decor. It makes a wonderful base for exploring the High Peaks of the Adirondack Mountains. It has a gravel driveway and a flight of stairs to get in, so it is not handicap accessible.

“Beautiful! Relaxing! Perfect!” I spent 4th of July weekend with a group of friends at this wonderful mountain retreat, and it was all that we wished and more!! The views are spectacular, the private pond and the mountains added so much to our stay. It was like being on a private resort...the home had everything we needed to have fun and enjoy this long summer weekend, and we are already planning to return next year. Thank you so much for providing such an amazing spot for a long weekend getaway! And it must be noted how accommadating and easy it was to communicate with the owner and with flipkey whenever I had any questions-- 5 Stars!
