Description
Our house is a modern, very spacious, 3 bedroomed property set amidst paddy fields and rural Thailand at its very best. The property is set in 3 acres of natural gardens, complete with main fish pond, fountains, BBQ area, Sala etc. The main pond is 20 metres by 30 metres and the gardens seen from the main and side porch areas are truly stunning. The gardens are a nature lovers' paradise, disturbed only by the sounds of birdsong. Two of the very spacious bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and the third bedroom has an adjoining private bathroom.The kitchen has all the facilities expected of a modern home with full cooking and laundry facilities. The lounge/living room area is huge and the walls are hung with stunning Buddha prints which really epitomise the peace and tranquillity of the property. We are in the process of going totally 'Green' and our fruit trees and herb garden are there to be taken advantage of. We have a gardener and housekeeper who live in an adjacent property who look after the house and grounds and they will be able to look after your daily needs should you require them.
The house is 4-5 hours by car from Bangkok, and the nearest airports are Kon Kaen and Nakhon Ratchasima which are just over an hour away by car. Bicycls are available free of charge to explore the stunning country lanes and nearby villages, and we can arrange car and moped hire. We are surrounded are 4 National Parks all within easy travelling We are located 1 kilometre from a vibrant silk producing, weaving and painting village which has all the facilities of shops, 2 markets, banks, ATM's, hospital etc. We are also only 15 kms from the city of Chaiyaphum which has all the normal big shopping stores, International Hospital, night-life etc. The region is full of the history of the Khymer people and this is a great place from which to explore North East Thailand. We are on the Northern route to the Golden Triangle of the Thai, Laos and Myanmar borders. Cambodia is also within a day's road travel, although visitors to our home have always used it as a place to relax and a respite from the stresses and strains of travelling: an oasis in the desert.
