Description

Woodpecker Lodge is located in the quite village of Honing which is perfectly based for exploring the Norfolk coastline and countryside.

Contemporary lodge finished to a very high standard. The downstairs accommodation comprises a smart open planned kitchen dinner and living area, entrance hall, large double bedroom and a wet room which is disabled friendly. Upstairs there is double bedroom with views over farmland, twin bedroom, spacious landing and bathroom.

The property is situated an equal distance between the market towns of North Walsham and Stalham which both have a good range of essential amenities.

“Great Holiday accommodation”

Great place to stay. Plenty of room and doggy friendly. Be aware that garden has an escape route for more adventurous dogs! Welcome pack of freshly baked bread, milk, butter, eggs and wine was a nice touch. Wonderful area to explore. Great walks, dog friendly beaches are just beautiful. Loved Cromer and Great Yarmouth. Recommend a day boat hire from Wroxham to see the broads.

“Perfect place to stay in North Norfolk”

My husband, brother and I took my disabled mother to Woodpecker Lodge for a weeks holiday. The house was absolutely perfect for a disabled person and meant my mother had no worries at all about being away from home. We enjoyed day trips to Holt, Blakeney, Norwich, Cromer and Southwold. The house was in a perfect position to visit the whole area. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The house was very well equipped and perfectly clean. A wonderful place to stay.

“Super clean property.”

Great location for the Coast and Broads, loads to see and do in the area, lots of walks from the doorstep. The Lodge was excellent, had a family member in a wheelchair and it was so easy for her to get around the property and even into the garden. Martin was very friendly and helpful and thank you for our welcome pack, will definitely be back.....

“Fantastic place to stay!”

An absolutely immaculate and extremely well presented property in a peaceful and accessible location. Upon arriving we were greeted by the owners who were very welcoming and had clearly gone above and beyond to ensure of their guests, including extra cleaning, extra towels along with anti bacterial in bathrooms / kitchen and also at the main entrance. What wasn’t mentioned was the wonderful welcome pack of wine, fresh homemade bread, eggs and marmalade, a great touch. The house was excellent! 2 large twin rooms and a very large downstairs double, a private garden in a lovely setting where many meals were taken along with a very comfortable living room area and well equipped kitchen. Would recommend without hesitation!

How do damage deposits work?
