Elegant and cosy Villa Romantica (from the Costa Romantica) is located in one of the most picturesque and exclusive residential areas of Sardinia, Sardinian stone, in the natural park of Capo Ceraso, a few miles from the islands of Tavolara and Molara. At 200 m. from the sea, the first corner of the complex, just above Cala Cuncheddi Hotel, enjoys a secluded and peaceful setting, surrounded by green Mediterranean vegetation, ideal for a relaxing and comfortable for a family of up to six people.

Outside: large garden, private swimming pool with adjacent 200 sqm. Solarium in complete privacy, outdoor shower, carport.

Upper floor: large living room with hardwood floors and large Windows, spectacular veranda overlooking the sea, fully equipped kitchen with window, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, two bathrooms with shower box.

Lower floor: Studio apartment with two beds, kitchen, French doors to garden and pool. Bathroom (shower).

Amenities at only 250 mt three beaches, two rocky beaches, the third round in front of the Hotel Cala Cuncheddi, fully equipped (rubber dinghies, pedalos, canoes, windsurfing, Jetty for mooring and boat parking) with access from private driveway in a suburb: minimarket, pizzeria-restaurant, service centre, day and night keeper, tennis courts, swimming pool. Supermarket km. 3. Location: 10 km South from the port and airport of Olbia, 20 minutes from Porto Rotondo, 45 minutes from Porto Cervo/Costa Smeralda.

Getting around

The area is not served by public transport, as in almost all of Sardinia. Recommended strongly the car. For sportsmen, possibility of moving by bicycle or on foot. The nearest shops are located 3 km. In the village there are a mini market (open July and August) and a pizzeria restaurant, in addition to the Hotel Cala Cuncheddi.

Interaction with guest

It is a habit of the owner personally contact guests, first on the site and then, as soon as possible, to their private account to send files with more information. The relationship is direct and intends to satisfy all requests for guest information both before confirmation that prior to arrival. During their stay guests can contact at any time the owner or his housekeeper, who lives locally, for every need.

Response from the owner Purtroppo anche dopo i nostri ripetuti avvisi, Il cliente ha preferito non noleggiare un'auto ( come vivamente consigliato) pur avendo 3 bimbi piccoli. Avvisiamo sempre rispetto alla necessità di noleggiare un auto in Sardegna! Il nostro ospite era anche informato rispetto alla presenza di un mini market ed un ristorante pizzeria che offrono un servizio limitato rispetto all'hotel 4 stelle sotto casa che chiaramente offre un servizio di alto livello e chiaramente a prezzi più alti. Purtroppo ci dispiace per l'esperienza poco positiva del nostro ospite nella pizzeria ,ma chiaramente non possiamo essere responsabili in quanto non siamo noi i gestori della pizzeria. Il vialetto di accesso al mare da casa è lungo 150 m. in pietra sarda , certo rapido ma inadatto al passeggino doppio del cliente; per questo c'è la strada carrabile solo un po' più lunga. Il monolocale è indipendente ( dotato di monoblocco cucina, ecc) ma senza aria condizionata , come specificato sul sito e al cliente . Il boiler é del 2017 e adeguato ad un normale consumo; il monolocale ha un secondo boiler. Anche la bombola del gas é a norma e quando finisce viene sostituita dal custode in un tempo massimo di 10/15 minuti come in tutto il villaggio. Le zanzariere non sono rotte: solo una deve essere chiusa delicatamente. Lo stesso vale per una porta di un solo box doccia. I divani esterni hanno il rattan un po' sbiadito ma i rivestimenti dei cuscini bianchi e puliti sostituiti ad ogni cambio cliente. In una casa a piano terra, immersa nella macchia mediterranea , é accettabile , anche se ben pulita , che entri qualche insetto a meno di tenere porte e finestre sempre chiuse. Infine I lettini 'offerti gratis' all'ospite sono stati una cortesia in più : il servizio viene fatto sulle spiagge a sinistra, più spartane ma con rocce bellissime , curate dal comune di Olbia. La spiaggia sotto casa, stupenda come si vede dalle foto, é per metà attrezzata e a pagamento e per metà libera. Spiagge per un km. e per tutti i gusti. Reputiamo la review del nostro ospite poco obbiettiva rispetto alla vera esperienza avuta da tutti i nostri ospiti passati. Suggeriamo al nostro ospite di affittare una macchina la prossima volta e di capire che se vuole soggiornare in un posto unico immerso nella macchia mediterranea, non può aspettarsi nè un viale di discesa a mare come un' autostrada, né che le spiaggia sia privata. Inoltre suggeriamo sempre di mettersi in contatto con noi per qualsiasi informazione o suggerimento!
