Description

A lovely detached property, situated in the quiet village of Ormesby St. Margaret, close to the historic Norfolk Broads and within 2 miles of the beach. This cosy, single story building, set within the garden of the owner's residence, comprises of an open plan living room/kitchen and one bedroom. Visitors to the cottage have sole use of a small courtyard overlooking adjacent fields, as well as use of a quiet shared garden between properties. Parking for 1-2 visitor cars is available on a shared drive way. Facilities within the cottage include electric cooker, microwave, fridge, SMART TV, free WiFi and DAB radio. Amenities within walking distance include a convenience shop, chip shop/Indian/Chinese take aways, public house, village green and launderette. A variety of restaurants and pubs can be found a short bike or car journey away and Great Yarmouth sea front is located just 5 miles/10 mins away by car.

Getting around

We have a bus stop directly outside the property and another a few meters up on the opposite side, great for cyclists and a train station 10 mins away by car

Interaction with guest

Our approach is to fit in with what works best for our guests. We tend to leave our guests to their own devices during their stay, so that they can make themselves feel at home but we are absolutely happy for visitors to come and have a chat/ask us questions. We also want guests to feel comfortable that they can contact us at any time should any problems arise. We're contactable via call, text or in person and we are happy to be contacted by any of these methods.

“Perfect getaway”

Beautiful accommodation. Very clean, everything we needed for a short break. Ideally situated to visit Great Yarmouth and surrounding area. Will definitely return.

As has hopefully since been explained to you by Hoeseasons/Cottages.com, they experienced a backend system failure at the time of your booking, which meant that confirmation emails were not sent out to property owners. Unfortunately, as a result, we were not made aware of your booking and therefore believed that those dates were available to guests placing bookings directly with us, via TripAdvisor or AirBnB. We can assure you that there was nothing nefarious on our part and we would have been absolutely delighted to welcome you to Stone Cottage. We are also disappointed that this external error occurred, as we personally pride ourselves in providing customers (both potential and confirmed) with the welcoming and efficient service, that we ourselves would like to receive. We hope that our previous reviews, one or two of which are from returning customers, put your mind at rest that this was an unfortunate error on the part of a third party agent, as opposed to our own processing of your booking, or anything personal. “ideal for a short stay”

Booked this at short notice to visit a relative close by. Found Craig very helpful and welcoming,he met us on arrival and explained the facilities. Accommodation was perfect for our requirements, we were able to park off road and were able to take our dog and the area had good dog walking. Very clean, warm and comfortable. we would happily stay again.

How do damage deposits work?
