Casa Soltau this unique house nestled in the small hamlet of Vallepascara, part of Pettorano Sul Gizio, just a five minute drive away from the main town of Sulmona and close to the Majella National Park, has been renovated to a very high standard with state of the art facilities. The accommodation over 3 floors comprises of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, lounge, kitchen and a wonderful roof terrace to soak up the Italian sun, mountain and valley views. It is ideally located for the likes of skiing, fishing, mounting biking, horse riding, hiking the nearby nature trails, taking a dip in one of the local lakes or spending time on the beaches of the Adriatic.

• Changeover days are flexible as is the duration of your stay from 2 nights onwards.• For stays of more than one week the property will have all bed linen and towels changed at the end of each week.• A welcome basket awaits you on arrival and a welcome book full of useful information is available for your perusal.• The neighbours are all very friendly and helpful with some of them being able to speak English.• Rates include gas, electricity and all linen including towels; however you will need to supply your own beach towels.

Entry is gained from the front of the house into the ground floor. This comprises of a lounge diner with log fire, that is fully furnished with leather sofas, a flat screen TV, DVD/CD/Radio player, 5.1 surround sound, satellite TV showing Italian, English, French, German and local channels, the dining area which seats up to 8 people at the table, and a modern fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer, washing machine and dryer, microwave, a coffee making machine to enjoy your espresso, cappuccino or Americana coffee and breakfast bar. This gives you access to the upper floors. There are two bedrooms on this floor the first (quad) comprises of a king size bed and single bunk beds, the second also has a king size bed, together with a balcony offering fantastic panoramic views of the Apennine Mountains, and Peligna Valley. From here you progress up to the third floor with a wonderful roof terrace where you can enjoy the rays of sunshine and more of those stunning views. Each bedroom also has ample storage space, a 26 inch flat screen TV with built-in DVD player, a hairdryer and a clock radio with IPod dock. The property is centrally heated and there are both European and UK socket outlets throughout.

The roof terrace and balcony enjoys the sun all day and is a great place to relax, take in the stunning view while using the BBQ to cook local produce and sipping on the wonderful local wines, or cook in the kitchen then eat al fresco or just soak up the rays. There is a table, chairs and parasol on the terrace for your conveniences. At the rear you will find your private garden which benefits from the afternoon and evening sun. Parking is available at the bottom of the garden on the property or at the front of the house.

“truly maganificent”
