My accommodation is located 8 km Siena and an hour's drive from Florence, Arezzo and the coast, in the middle of the Chianti hills Classico.A 4 km there is a pizzeria, La Piccarda, and a typical restaurant, La Vecchia Tavern. Tranquility and contact with nature are the main features of this zona.La house is suitable for couples, solo travelers, families (with children) and furry friends (pets) .The bikers are particularly welcome.
The apartment is part of a typical farmhouse of the Siena area, the roof beams and bricks makes for a warm and welcoming environment. It is accessed by a separate entrance via an outside staircase that overlooks the valley below and facing west. The master bedroom, to the left of the entrance, very large door, overlooking the common courtyard .While on the right in the living room overlooking towards Siena, there is a sofa bed that can accommodate two people. To the right of the living room opens to the kitchen with induction hob and appliances. Between the bedroom and the living room is a large bathroom with shower. A closet can accommodate, on the one hand luggage of guests and other clothing and personal clothing.
Pievasciata is a small village in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, close to Siena, at the gates of Chianti, Di Brolio castles, Bossi, Meleto, unobstructed areas rich in history. The proximity to Siena makes an excellent base for cultural, gastronomic tours, fun in the city.
In the village of Pievasciata is the Sculpture Park, a museum of modern art in the open air with a path that winds through the woods and surrounding meadows, in which every year are held musical and cultural events of great importance.
For lovers of Nordic Walking the surrounding area is a paradise, with countless paths through the woods, you can reach beautiful places and beautiful panoramic views.
Motorcycle fans, will soon move on winding and scenic roads in the direction of Val d'Orcia, and of the mountain, as well as towards the sea, which is reachable in one hour, and where required we can organize daily tours with a guide who will take you to fabulous places and taste typical food of our area.
Siena, which is the patrimony of UNESCO since 1995, is about 8 km and this makes it possible to spend most of time to know the city.
The museums of Santa Maria della Scala, the National Picture Gallery on the Museum of the City of Siena with works of art of the greatest Sienese masters, able to tell the story of this wonderful city.
In the days July 2 and August 16 of each year Siena will light especially of colors, lights and voices because they are the days of the Palio, the famous race in which the horse is the protagonist. Being in the city these days take a trip back in time and experience unique and unrepeatable sensations.
The city has meeting places for young and old, like the Italian wine bar and the bars and restaurants of the Piazza del Campo open until late. Pubs and Breweries scattered in the city center are full of people until late at night.
