Description
If you want to get away from it all then Casa Do Campo is the perfect retreat for you. Nestled in the hills and countryside, this rustic 2 bedroom cottage will allow you to while away your time without the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A short drive takes you to the expressway and nearby Porto Moniz or São Vicente, or up the plateau of Paul da Serra which provides the best levada walking and hiking on the island.
The ground floor consists of an open plan lounge, dining area and compact kitchen, and in an adjoining room you will find a large internal built-in barbecue, so whatever the weather you can still try your hand at cooking one of the locals favourite dishes - Espetada, succulent skewers of beef.
Upstairs are the two bedrooms. One with a double bed and small balcony and the other with two single beds. Both bedrooms share the family shower room. If you are a larger group then the sofa can be used for 2 children or 1 adult. A baby cot and high chair can also be provided.
Outside is a table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility and enjoy the uninterrupted views of the sea, surrounding mountains and countryside.

The advertised prices are based on a 2-person occupancy and supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time.
A refundable security deposit of €200 is required, payable in cash on arrival.
To secure your reservation, a deposit of 30% is required, or the full amount if within 8 weeks or arrival, and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Should you cancel up to 8 weeks prior to arrival only the deposit is non-refundable, and within this period the full amount.

This is traditional cottage in the north coast of Madeira, where seclusion, privacy and nature are guaranteed. Yet close to ocean and near Porto Moniz resort. Indeed, that during your stay there was a rainstorm that affected the whole island and specially the north shore making it extremely unusual for this period to have rainfall. For this unusual days/events the house is equipped with a fantastic wood burner that heats the whole house, including the ground and first floor, making the it extremely cozy to be inside. Just a factual check, an email with two attachments was sent to this customer on the 27th of October at 11:07. Kind Regards, António
