Description
The house was built around 1930 and was renovated in 2013. It is a typical house in a spot with a privileged view over the right bank of Douro river and the city of Porto. Located in Afurada, a small fishing village in Vila Nova de Gaia, a walking distance from Porto Historic Centre and Port wine cellars.
The house has accomodations for 4 to 6 guests in two bedrooms and in a double couch in the living, all in the upper floor. It is equiped with: 2 bedrooms,1 Double sofa bed, 1 WC with bathtub with shower, Bed linen an towels, Cooking facilities, Microwave, Refrigerator,
Toaster, Iron, Vacuum cleaner, Books and games, Internet Wi-Fi.
Ground floor (38 m2): Kitchen, Dining room, WC with bathtub with shower, Closet.
Upper floor (38 m2): 2 Bedrooms, Living.
A lot of facilities, restaurants, coffee shops, bike rentals, beaches and sightseeing spots are near River House: Douro Marina, Natural Reserve of Douro Estuary, Interpretive Heritage Centre of Afurada and 15 km of sandy beaches.

“Amazing :-)”
We´ve had an unforgettable stay in River House. The neighbourhood is quiet, secure and lovely. Despite of being 5 km away from Porto, from Afurada you have a boat frequently tcrossing the Duero, and it´s worth to walk by the river to the downtown. If you have a car, it´s definetly a great option! The River house is BEAUTIFUL. Every detail makes you feel at home...or better than at home ;-) Jorge Simoes, a great host. Nothing more than thanks so much for making our stay so comfortable!
