2-bedroom oceanfront apartment ECON (aprox. 75m² inside, plus a balcony with 30 m² with both sea/beach and mountain views and sunny all day; license 90969/AL): located on the 9th floor (3 elevators), equipped and with air conditioning in the living room. This apartment comes with a parking permit for one vehicle in the exterior parking lot (guarded and with an automated gate) – only during the high season (June to September) because the parking in said lot is free during the other months of the year. This building as an exterior parking spot for bicycles.

The lodging in this apartment comes with wireless internet, Smart TV LG 4K 107cm (com internet, Netflix, Youtube, etc.), 10 TV channels in Portuguese, English, Dutch, and Spanish, along with several other live channels from all over the world through Smart TV apps (e.g. NPO-Nieuws from the Netherlands, France 24, etc.), Netflix with multilingual subtitles (movies, series, cartoons, documentaries, comedy, etc.). This apartment has two bedrooms with built-in wardrobes (beds: Main bedroom has one bed 1,50m by 2m; Second bedroom has 2 beds, each with 1,05m by 2m; all with quality mattresses of "Flex Nube Visco"), fully equipped open space kitchen (e.g. dishwasher, 2-doors fridge (refrigeration plus freezer), oven, 4-discs induction cooktop, etc.), living room with dining and sofa-bed (1,40m by 2m), one full bathroom (easy walk-in shower), and a pantry (e.g. laundry machine, vacuum cleaner, iron and board, etc.).

Getting around

Walking or biking is the easiest way to move around Monte Gordo. Traffic is very light or pretty much non-existent, particularly in the winter. In the summer is best to walk though. There are Taxis right next to the building in case you need it. The bus stop is 400 meters away. The Monte Gordo train station is 1.6km away (you can buy tickets inside train if departing from Monte Gordo, a small train station). You need a car if you do not want to be dependent on the "not so frequent" buses and trains, or if you do not want to pay for Taxi services. If you can pedal, then a rental bicycle or electric bicycle is a great way to move around.

Interaction with guest

I will be welcoming you upon arrival at the building's door and do the check-in. I can recommend places to visit and eat nearby, as well as inform you about the bike rental and rental cars (these are located literally across the street). A good grocery store is located 50 meters away from the building. Other services (e.g. pharmacy, post, ATM, etc) are also located just a "couple" of steps away. The building as a 24h concierge that can also inform you about whatever you need. I am available regularly from 09h-22h and 24/7 for emergencies, via phone/whatsapp/facetime or email. I am a "let them be" host but you can reach me very easily as we live a couple of steps away (in another building). If you have questions to not hesitate to ask.
