Description

Just 10 mins from the wonderful City of Bath, Abbotsleigh Cottage is a stylish contemporary apartment within a Regency country house. This bright and airy apartment with it's own private entrance and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, enjoys stunning views over wooded valleys and countryside beyond. Parking is on the drive. Outside there are seating areas overlooking the sunny south facing gardens. The stately panelled bedroom has a super king size corbeille bed, with Egyptian cotton sheets and en-suite shower room.

A further bedroom leads off the main, with full sized comfortable bunk beds suitable for adults and kids alike.

In the living room, a large sofa converts quickly and very easily into a comfortable full size double bed.

Set in a beautiful valley on the edge of the City of Bath, Freshford Village, designated an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' is a place were every one walks and everything is in walking distance. There's a great county pub, down by the river, a well stocked friendly shop and cafe offering delicious breakfasts and lunches. Freshford's own Railway Station whisks you to Bath City centre in less than 10mins.

Locally there's horse riding, boating and canoeing, fishing, Tennis and golf . Great for bike rides with the canal tow path ideal for getting to Bath or Bradford-on-Avon and beyond.

The World Heritage City of Bath just 6 miles away, is a truly vibrant city, full to the brim of fabulous architecture, stylish shopping, a stunning spa and a lively calendar of festivals and events.

Located in the South West of England, Bath is easy to get to - 90min form London Paddington by train and a short drive from the M4/M5 motorways.

Getting around

Freshford has it's very own railway station with trains into Bath a 10min ride and running roughly every hour. It's easy to get to Oxford & London via the train. In the other direction they go to the south coast. There is also a local bus that stop at the top of the lane. Taxi's are easy to arrange a to and from Bath

“PERFECT STAY”

A wonderful, totally relaxing stay in a beautifully designed and quality furnished apartment which was both stylish and comfortable. The bed is the best we have slept in! Everything is pristine and special touches on arrival made you feel truely welcomed by the hosts. They have added so many charming features such as the metal tea lights by the door which were lit for us on our return from a night out in Bath. Location is excellent to visit the city which is only a 10 minute drive away and there are many walks on your doorstep or excellent cycle rides. We used the canal tow path to cycle along to both Bradford on Avon and Bath. The local village, Freshford is delightful and we really enjoyed visiting all the small villages in the surrounding area. The hosts garden is also available to use and this is a perfect spot when you just want to chill for a few hours with a glass of wine and a good book. We will definitely return again.

How do damage deposits work?
