“Excellent stay”
Stayed a week in The Hayloft. Well organised on arrival. Clean and tidy with all that is required for a self catering stay. Would stay here again without hesitation.

“Bank holiday break”
We stayed in ' The Stable Cottage' which was lovely, lots of character and nice and clean etc, About a mile to the beach, which was lovely. The downside to this booking was its connection to the Hotel, the staff were less than friendly on arrival, I asked about having breakfast delivered to our cottage on the sunday they said they were fully booked for breakfast, so when I asked about doing it for the monday morning I was told they didnt do the delivery to the cottages at the moment, the following day we saw a man delivering food and wine to another cottage?! On the first night we had our evening meal at the hotel, the food wasnt cheap and was mediocre at best, most of the staff appeared young and inexperienced, my starter was the Duck which didnt arrive with the dressing, then when my husbands main course arrived the waitress dropped half of it on the floor, just a clumsy mistake but it just made us not want to eat there again. Then on checkout they had attached someone else's bar bill to our final bill which was for our two dogs, the gentleman checking us out didnt apologise or ask if we had enjoyed our stay, just tutted and shrugged his shoulders when I told him the bar bill wasnt ours. The cottage I would stay at again, but would not recommend the hotel for food etc, The Joiners Arms in the next village did lovely meals and reasonably priced.
