The proximity with the Orsini Odescalchi Castle and the spectacular view of the Lake of Bracciano make this location unique, gifting it with a magic and romantic atmosphere, a charm of the past that will make your vacation unforgettable.The residence is located in an ancient building of the 15th century, in Bracciano's medieval old town, opposite the Castle of Bracciano, and it is finely refurbished respecting contemporary interiors: exposed beams, coffered ceiling, terracotta's pianella, fireplace and original stone portals from the time are only some of it's beautiful characteristics. The old structure masterfully combines with modern living comforts and offers:three bathrooms with modern showers and a bath, 2 spacious walk-in closets, professional kitchen with center island and large fireworks designed by the famous architect Renzo Piano, 3 bedrooms, a study room, a sitting room and a balcony with sofas and lake view. The advantages of this residence are strategic because it is not only located in the heart of the old town (close to the best restaurants, typical shops and supermarkets) but also because Rome Airport (Fiumicino- Leonardo da Vinci) and Civitavecchia harbour are easily reachable.You can walk down to the Bracciano Lake and to the local train station where you can take the train to Rome, directly connected to the Subway (Stations of San Pietro and Valle Aurelia) and to the City of Viterbo, the heart of Etruscan Tuscia.This residence was created by combining two apartments; Therefore its breadth and distribution on three floors can easly accommodate large families or more couples of friends at the same time, safeguarding their privacy.
Bracciano is famous throughout the world for it's castello Orsini Odescalchi, scenario of social events, famous weddings (Tom Cruise, Eros Ramazzotti) and location for movies. Not to be outdone is the Lake of Bracciano, a protected oasis within the regional Park, which is home for countless species of animals and birds.The Lake offers a variety of leisure activities, numerous sports facilities as sailing, windsurfing and daily trips by boat. On its shores you may wish to visit: the Romanesque church of San Liberato, surrounded by a famous Botanical Garden and a lush garden, the charming towns of Anguillara Sabazia and Trevignano and the Museum of Aviation Weapons with the most important Italian collection of historical aircrafts. A few kilometres there are many forested areas and the famous Terme di Stigliano with the Roman Spa. Approximately 15 miles away there are the National Etruscan Museum of Cerveteri and the necropolis of Banditaccia, some of the most important Etruscan sites. In a few miles you also have the very well preserved Castle of Santa Severa overlooking the sea side, with wide sandy beaches.To conclude, Bracciano and our home are at the heart of everything:the ideal starting point for nature walks, artistic and archaeological sites on foot, by bike and on horseback.

“Great location in a beautiful. historical building”
Location was perfect just under the Castelo in Bracciano. A great choice of restaurants within walking distance serving wonderful local food and just a short walk to the train station for day trips to Rome. The apartment was beautifully furnished with a really well equipped kitchen and Marina was really welcoming and very helpful with organising taxi to and from the airport.
