Description

Here you are in the very heart of Lisbon, between the Baixa Pombalina and the São Jorge Castle, the most visited monument in Portugal. From the Studio, and whichever direction you take, you'll find History, good restaurants and monuments to visit in the city.

The apartment is warmly decorated. Sit on the banks by the windows and enjoy the views over the neighbourhood.

A single sofa bed can accommodate a third person in this charming pied-à-terre hidden in the streets of old Lisbon.

Apartment very well located in central Lisbon, 2 minutes walk from Lower traditional Lisbon and 5 minutes walk from Chiado.

Very near the Castle of S. Jorge.

The metro / bus is located 100 meters.

The apartment is situated right in the middle of those stairs coming form the Baixa and going up to the castle São Jorge. The studio is on the 1nd floor and has been completely remodelled to offer the best modern comfort inside this small 17th century house.

Lisbon is a magical, friendly city and cheaper than most other European destinations. With so much to offer, it is a legendary city with more than 20 centuries of history,. narrow streets, white and blue tiled buildings, old neighborhoods and Fado music coming from many restaurants making this city a great and unique place to visit.

The Lisbon / Castelo area

The neighborhood of Costa do Castelo features some of the most spectacular viewpoints of Lisbon. If you simply stroll around for a quick 30 minute walk, you will have views over most of the city and the Tagus river. Should you go up to the terraces of the São Jorge Castle, Lisbon will lie underneath at your feet. From here, turn towards the ocean and spend hours just watching the perfect geometry of the Baixa Pombalina. The Miradouro of Santa Luzia, just in front of Largo das Portas do Sol is only a few hundreds of meters away, so is the sector of Alfama in its vicinity of the Tagus. In the Baixa, a 5 minute walk from here, you'll find a very busy shopping area where typical portuguese shops stand next to those with the newest brands of the market.

In the building next door they are doing works so there may be some noise during the day.

“A perfect studio in a charming city”

We were very pleased with our experience with Ze. His response time was very fast and his information very useful and accurate. The studio apartment was exactly as advertised and very good value. The location is excellent, it's very easy access to the Metro as well as walkable distance to most tourist attractions. When back in Lisbon we will definitively stay here again
