Description

Choose CHESTNUTT COTTAGE and enjoy the much prized OPTION of also renting ( AT EXTRA CHARGE ) our Southwold beach hut.

The hut is near the Lighthouse on Southwold Promenade.

As you can imagine, the BEACH HUT OPTION adds a new dimension to a Southwold holiday. Breakfasting in the hut on a sunny morning is a true delight.

The cottage is in Reydon- approximately 20 min walk from our beach hut and Southwold Market Square.

The cottage sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms ( 4'6'' double and 2 full size single beds). It is a small, modern,comfortable, semi-detached, double glazed, centrally heated, very well equipped, holiday home and is highly recommended by our visitors.

There is a downstairs toilet , wash basin and shower - the water heated by gas and an upstairs bathroom with an electric shower. The kitchen is modern, with full-size electric oven, and 4 electric hob unit, double bowl sink , dishwasher , washing machine, microwave, toaster etc.- everythng we think we need.

A small conservatory leads out from the kitchen into a sunny, sheltered private garden. BOTH properties are NON SMOKING. Sorry NO PETS. Our normal change over day is Saturday.

“Wonderful place for a beach holiday”

What a tasteful and comfortable home from home this is. Simply but beautifully furnished and decorated, it ooses the tastes and charm of its owners, whose drawings and collages adorn the walls. The kitchen is well-equipped and the conservatory is a delightful sunny place to relax The owners' beach hut (which we used everyday) puts you right on the seafront, with shelter and hot drinks whatever the weather. A nearby shop provides provisions and wine, and the town of Southwold is but a short walk away and has loads of fascinating food and clothes shops. We also enjoyed a fine meal at The Harbour Inn (on the river). Hope to come back another year.
