Description
This comfortable, terraced house in Pakefield has a lovely position overlooking a large grassed area with the beach and sea beyond. Having the footpath in front of the house means it's safe for children and cars don't block the view. The sand and pebble beach in front is only a few steps away. Pakefield is a quiet village just south of Lowestoft, a traditional sea side resort, with wide, sandy award winning beaches. These are within easy walking distance along the sea promenade lined with colourful beach huts. Lowestoft is also the home of the Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park.
A short drive takes you along the beautiful Suffolk heritage coast to Southwold, Walberswick, Minsmere, Dunwich and Aldeburgh. Norwich with its shops and historic attractions is within easy reach by car or train. Oulton Broad, 2 miles, offers excellent facilities for boat trips on the Norfolk Broads. Shops 200 m, pubs 100 m away. Parking at the rear of the house in a quiet cul-de-sac (off-road).

Sliding porch door leads from back room to enclosed back garden, mostly paved and with garden furniture. The front garden is a great place to sit and enjoy the view and soak up some sunshine!
Upstairs:
Bathroom with toilet, sink and bath at the top of the stairs. There is an electric shower over the bath.
Twin bedroom (back of the house) with two adult single pine beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers, bedside lamps
Double bedroom with fantastic sea view, normal size double bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps
Single bedroom with fantastic sea view, adult single bed, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe, small TV (not a Smart one)
Upstairs is carpeted (except for the bathroom)
The house is also very cosy in the colder months of the year.

“Good place”
Very nice cottage, convenient for all Lowestoft, nice quiet area, good pubs, chippy around the corner, very nice, comfortable beds and everything you need plus extras, TVs, are an extra bonus particularly for our little one in the bedroom. Will book and stay again, thank you

“Excellent location, excellent host”
Lovely cottage on the seafront. Perfect for beach walks. Close to 2 grocery stores, pub, fish shop. Host very responsive and helpful. Clean, tidy house with all amenities. A very comfortable stay.

Brilliant stay lots to see and do near by ,hire a boat on the broads is a must.the beach is a lovely walk,will try and book again for next year

“Perfect location”
Spent 3 nights here and it is in the perfect location. We have been visiting this area for a few years now and love it. House was fully functional, and had everything we needed, although not many basics supplied (tea, coffee, sugar). Will definitely return

“5 Sea View Walk”
Very pleasant holiday home and location. A 'get away from it all' holiday. Close to amenities. Would highly recommend Jolly Sailors close by for a memorable meal.

“Wonderfully relaxing”
Three generations of our family (74 - 22) stayed in this warm and cosy sea facing House. Pakefield ( my great grandparents lived here) is still a gentle, warm and welcoming little town. Feels like a village. Local pub, the good fellows is tiny, bustling with friendly staff and great food. In fact everywhere we went the food and service was excellent. Beach houses and seaside shops all open in January . London road , the main road into Lowestoft , should you not want to walk along the prom is full of amazing curio shops. The house itself was warm and clean. Well equipped and the beds were extremely comfortable. Two Tv,’s but we rarely had time to look at those. Beautiful sunrise through the large front window warmed the soul each morning. Lots of local books and board games to keep everyone occupied. We would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in Lowestoft/ pakefield. The bus to Africa alive was only £2:00 for a return journey should you not have a car. Also it was only a 30 min gentle stroll into Lowestoft town . We went by train into London to visit portobello road markets on a Saturday. 2 hours and very cheap. Didn’t arrive home until midnight. Wonderful relaxing week.

The owners have always had an interest in the history of the area because of family connections. They have authored two books with historical photographs called 'Old Lowestoft' and 'Old Pakefield and Kirkley' and these, as well as some of their reference books are in the house for guests to enjoy! I'm sorry that you felt the decor and cleanliness was not quite up to the standard you would have expected. We do regularly make improvements to the house and are currently redecorating two of the bedrooms. The house is thoroughly cleaned after each letting.
