Description

Luxury self catering accommodation within Carman Hill House formerly known as the Carman Waterworks. The owners John and Susan live in the old waterworks part of the house and have converted a wing, the former testing station. Ideally suited for two to six people. Set in rural surroundings, situated on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park it is an ideal base for touring. 5 minutes drive to the shores of Loch Lomond, 10 minutes drive to Helensburgh and 20 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Perfectly located for nearby outdoor activities include fishing, horse riding, hill walking and golf.

“Fabulous place with friendly owners”

We stayed for 3 nights. The welcome pack was great and very gratefully received after an 81/2 hour journey. Ideally situated for all attractions around Loch Lomond. The view from the property is very understated and came as a pleasant surprise. Sue the owner is very friendly and helpful without being remotely intrusive. We felt totally comfortable in what was our home for the duration. Wonderful garden and we were lucky to have fantastic weather.
