The resort facilities of the palm fringed pool with spa and hot tub are there for your enjoyment.

Enjoy a stroll along the beach just steps away or a more energetic game of tennis on the resorts tennis court.

Prepare a tropical breakfast to enjoy on the balcony. The kitchen has fridge/freezer, double hotplate, toaster, kettle, microwave, pots,pans crockery and cutlery. A poolside gas BBQ is an alternative if you wish to dine around the pool.

The balcony is sheltered and can be enjoyed in all weather as is the poolside BBQ.

The sands of the golden tropical beach fringed by palm trees is directly below you. The views are private and unobstructed from this top floor location. What you see in the photos is what you get,. Enjoy your very own slice of paradise. This immaculately presented, fully furnished top floor one bedroom apartment has some of the most breath taking views of the Coral Sea you will find! Totally private, you can relax on the balcony and watch people on the beach below, cruise ships at anchor and sail boats from the local marina. Laze by the pool, play tennis, soak up the suns rays on the pristine golden sands of Trinity Beach or take a stroll to a number of award winning restaurants that Vasey Esplanade has to offer. Sip a glass of wine on your own seafront balcony watching the sunset or the dolphins and whales. Organise a trip to the Great Barrier Reef or ride the famous train to Kuranda or the Skyrail across the rainforest. The local Sunbus operates half hourly to Cairns and the other local beaches such as Palm Cove so it is easy to get around without a car.

Attractions

Cairns has a casino (with a rooftop dome wildlife attraction), excellent shopping, art galleries, a museum, theatre, cinemas, wildlife parks, aboriginal cultural park, cable car, national parks, and the Great Barrier Reef, a multitude of islands and adventure activities (cable skiing, jungle swing, bungy jumping, white water rafting, skydiving, ATVs, paragliding, sea kayaking - the list is endless - how long did you say you were staying?).

Taking a drive up north, you can visit Port Douglas (about 40 minutes), the world heritage listed Daintree National Park, Cape Tribulation and perhaps you might want to take a cruise to check out the crocodiles and other wildlife (snakes and all!) that inhabit the Daintree River.

To the west you can visit the Atherton Tablelands, the crater lakes (yes, they were volcanoes), waterfalls and rainforest retreats.

That is, of course, if you want to venture out, you may just wish to while away your days on the balcony or on the beach, using the bbq by the pool, sampling the cuisine in the beachfront restaurants or sipping on a drink or two in the pub or bar at Trinity Beach.

It's a very special place to be at full moon, absolutely stunning! (What a great romantic getaway idea!)

Response from the owner May I point out that this is a holiday apartment and is not fitted with a "Gourmet" kitchen. Other guests have all been very happy with the facilities and equipment provided so It is hard for me to understand what "odd bits" you are referring to that you feel need to be removed as everything we provide has a purpose. The bed is a standard queen size mattress which I would describe as "medium", not too hard and not too soft, so that it suits most people. I have never received any comments from previous guests about the bed and can only surmise that you may be of a fragile disposition. I do not feel that any "updating" is required and as you are not specific I would point out that the photos that you see are exactly what you will find. Unfortunately, it is true that it is impossible to please all of the people all of the time. However, 99.9% of our guests are very happy with the apartment.
