Description

A quiet hideaway that runs alongside a Roman bridle path down to the lovely Staffordshire/Worcestershire canal yet situated behind electric gates within the grounds/garden of New Wood Farm. Converted from a Stable and decorated with a New England style interior it's perfect for one , or a couple visiting the area, visiting relatives or working.

For guests with limited mobility is in the ideal situation with everything on ground level and secure parking right outside the front door. Right on the edge of The Black Country with just a three minute walk to the bus stop, guests who choose not to drive can easily access the bus into town where the trains connect to Birmingham City/Worcester line

All electric The Stable has radiators in every room and a fully fitted kitchen with a colour TV/DVD player.

Free Wifi is included in the price.

Many of our guests visit either for vacation or work, however we stayed in here ourselves following my husbands recent Hip replacement surgery for one week. It was perfect. Everything on one level and everything to hand. Although we live only across the yard it felt as we were on holiday ourselves.

We had a wonderful stay it’s such a cosy welcoming place lovely and clean with the added security of electric gates mick &linda can’t do enough for you access onto bridle way down to canal for walkers would def stay again

Great location, great owners, very friendly. Stables was romantic for two people, cosy with fireplace & Victorian bed. Strongly recomend staying in the Barn aswell (as we got the chance to stay in both the barn and stables) especially if you've got family and friends near by as there's plenty of room to entertain people & a cool jukebox. Beautiful gardens and close to canal walks.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Linda (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
