Multi award winning 1680 Scottish exclusive use Scottish wedding venue and accommodation set in 140 acre estate that dates back to 1492. The 17 bedroom house is available as your exclusive use wedding venue for 2-3 days and nights. It has been extensively restored and now provides extremely comfortable, relaxing accommodation in a beautiful, unique setting 15 miles west of Aberdeen on the banks of the river Urie.

The house has an indoor infinity pool, two hot tubs, a cinema room, two kitchens and a private island. We also have a purpose built ballroom for functions and weddings for up to 160 day guests and a further 20 evening guests.

The house is primarily a wedding venue, but we do take rentals and other functions if we have availability.

The house has 17 bedrooms and sleep 50 excluding cot and camp beds. There are two kitchens, two self contained courtyard rooms, an indoor pool and several lounges. Please see our website for further details and a 360 tour.

Outside is an enclosed courtyard, surrounded by flowers, home to bees and swallows in the summer. The covered barbecue can be used all year round. Outside the courtyard, we are surrounded by a 140 acre estate, with fishing on the river Urie, a tranquil private island (frequented by otters and ideal for picnics), ancient woodlands to the west, pictish standing stones and miles of tracks and walks. There are numerous attractions nearby, including golf, shooting, fishing, falconry, go-carting, restaurants, horse riding, hill walking, rock climbing and distilleries. Slightly further afield, you will find beaches, deer stalking and skiing.

Getting around

The A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road runs right past our gatehouse, so it is very easy to reach Logie House by car. The airport is about a £35 taxi ride. There is also a Bus that runs past the gatehouse too.There is a Helipad on the front lawn too.

Interaction with guest

Gillian & Lila our events managers will be happy to smooth your stay and our award winning in house caterers (Hudsons Catering) can cater for whatever you desire. We have someone close on call for the duration of your stay too.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Tim (the owner) a message.

If Tim (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
