#The apartment is situated in probably the nicest and most picturesque little town on the Cote D' azur. There are panoramic sea and mountain views from the terrace of the apartment and it is less than a 5 minute walk to the small fishing port and marinas, where there are a large selection of top quality restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, or alternatively you can dine in the apartment or on the terrace.
There are several beautiful sandy beaches within an easy 10 minute walk from the apartment. Explore the narrow cobbled stone streets of the medieval old town and Citadel (castle) which date back to 130 bc where some of the streets have changed little in the last 500 years. Nice and Monaco are a 15 minute drive respectively from Villefranche.

Response from the owner Thank you very much for your comments, the good and the not so good. We will update and improve the information booklet. Unfortunately the TV sattelite dish on the roof of the building was disrupted due to high winds just prior to your arrival and had to be re positioned, it has been sorted now.

“Perfect location with simply breathtaking views across the bay.”
Starting with breakfast on the balcony and ending with a glass of wine at sunset, we never tired of the beautiful view, yachts and cruisers coming and going. Locally within a few minutes walk are some delicious bakeries and deli's, really everything you could want or need for a stay. The apartment is well laid out with lots of linen and towels and a huge fridge and we will most definitely be returning. Thanks to the lovely lady who showed us around and gave us the keys, as easy as an hotel really.

“Breathtaking views of the Mediterranean”
My wife and I stayed at The Diana Place, Villefranche-Sur-Mer from July 5th to July 12/15. The apartment was spotless and beautifully maintained. The balcony just off the main room provides panoramic and breathtaking vistas of this beautiful medieval village and sea. We had our dinners on the balcony every evening and never tired of the views. It is centrally located with a secure entrance and easy walking distance from the markets, train station, and restaurants and sea resort. The manager provided excellent and professional service. Although the apartment is not large it is cozy and comfortable. I would highly recommend Diana Place.

“This is what i would call a studio not an apartment”
Fantastic views, clean bedding and towels etc. The general cleanliness of the studio was not good and the windows were filthy and had not been cleaned for some time. The balcony had not been cleaned for some time The shower was so small that if you drop the soap you have to step back out of the shower to pick it up. Not quite what we are used to. Also it is worth noting that anyone can walk into the apartment block as the locks did not work on the ground floor entrance.

“Splended”
Easy to get there from the airport, you do not need a car. Near to the old town and several good restaurants. Many bathing facilities. Busses who can take ouy to the mountains and esely. to walk back to the town. Also possible to take busses back to Nice or to Monte Carlo and Menton.

“Fabulous Apartment - Dina Palace - Villefranche”
Stayed at the apartment for a week and had a fabulous time. The apartment is clean, spacious, very well equipped with modern appliances and has stunning views over Villefranche. It is perfectly located with plenty of restaurants, two small supermarkets and some shops all close by. Bus and rail links are also close with frequent services throughout. All in all an excellent choice / location.
