Are you ready? Well! A short and pleasant walk on the property and, as a dedicated airplane, you will see and you will experience unique and unforgettable panoramas, silhouetted in a horizon at 360 ° with visibility extended to over 60km on 4 regions of Italy: Umbria, Latium, Tuscany and Marche and, only to name a few examples: from Città della Pieve to the Sibillini Mountains, from Perugia to Mount Cetona, from Trasimeno Lake to Assisi and Mount Terminillo, passing through Cortona, Chiusi and its lake, Montepulciano, Castiglione del Lago and much more.
Miralaghi property extends on 750 acres of amazing nature as a park between Umbria and Tuscany, and not far from Latium either, on a lovely hill, in an ideal position for a lot of trips, right in the centre of Italy, only 15 km from the A1 motorway, at an altitude that goes from 450 to 650 meters above sea level, with an enviable climate, both in winter and in summer.
Born as un hunting lodge it is between forest, olives plants, lakes, woods, and stunning views. Villa Miralaghi is situated on the slopes of the hill, sunny but shaded by trees at 500mt above the sea level; from the covered patio you can recognize the silhouette of Città della Pieve through the hills around.
Villa Miralaghi comfortably welcomes 8 people in four bedrooms with 3 modern bathrooms with tub and shower.
Ideal for a large family or two smaller families traveling together; the home is un ideal place for lovers of relax and nature as well as the visit of the surroundings. Close the house there is your own private pool, and the ping-pong table; near is the SPA Jacuzzi, the playground for your kids and the soccer table.
From the private covered car park you reach the entrance and the hall, on the right a short corridor to the kitchen fully equipped with a huge refrigerator and a very big freezer, micro-waves, dishwasher, oven, with a fireplace and table and chairs for the breakfast ; from the hall you enter to the central great room with a dining area with a round dining table for 8-9 and a living area with 3 big sofas, a huge fireplace with benches inside in the traditional Umbrian manner, WI-FI, TV-SAT- digital, mini HI-FI, electric Keyboard.
The dining room has access to a covered veranda with an outside dining area and barbecue and sitting area; to the right of the sitting room there two double bedrooms with bathrooms in suite facing onto the garden; to the left of the dining room, the billiard room with two beds that share the bathroom with shower with the last double (twins) bedroom.
Inside it has all comforts: heating, clean linen every week, mosquito nets at the windows, WI-FI, a wide choice of books, chess, games, brochures, my personal suggestions , DVD, CD, etc.
From the veranda you can go into the garden and the private pool (5x8). There are hammock, sun-beds and tea tables. In the garden beside the house your own ping-pong table. The gardens gets the sun early to late in the evening, but there are areas shaded by the trees.
At night, don't miss the spectacular view of the dark sky crowded with stars.
I do a weekly extra-virgn lesson testing; astrophisic, cooking, pottery classes are available.
SPA JACUZZI our SPA Jacuzzi with three different massages and 58 jets is a great pleasure.
TREKKING AND CYCLING: enjoy Miralaghi with its wonderful excursions on foot or mountain bike, close to unspoiled nature dense of woodlands full of wildlife; inside there is a reported path for mountains bikes crossing breath-taking landscapes.
FISH: fish at our fishing pond (No-kill fish); there are perchs, pikes, carps, but they were also caught eels and crayfish
PICNIC or take a picnic in the forest near the romantic lake.
FITNESS: do, as Rambo, the fitness trail in the forest (17equipments, the children like it a lot ) or simply walk along it.
BIRD WATCHING: climb on the two birds watching.
PLAYGROUND : let your children to go to the play-ground.

Tired? Relax in the sun, lay in the Jacuzzi drinking your favorite wine, play bowls, play chess under the oak, admiring the wonderful sunset and the never- ending view around you, eat out and try the local gourmet specialities, not forgetting our olive oil.
NATURE: there are still many species of wild animals, which I try to protect in every way: foxes, roe deer, hedgehogs, porcupines, wild boars, hares, and squirrels near Villa Miralaghi fire-flies in June, July. A couple of buzzards and a hawks often circle above us. A family of barn owls is often seen at night. Robin, jay, hoopoe, green-peak are usual visitors. Pheasants and partridges are often set free here.
At the begin of spring there are the violets, in Italy we do a delicious blue candy with the violets, a lot of wild flowers during the spring, the sun-flowers in summer; In september in the forest you encounters carpets of cyclamens. At the end of September until the beginning of November you can find many species of mushrooms- books explaining them are at home -.If you like a different experience come the first week-end of November when we start to collect the olives.
VISITS: come to Miralaghi to discover some of the most interesting and beautiful areas of Italy and to admire some splendid works of art dating back to the Roman-Etruscan civilisation through to the Renaissance within a short drive.
In the immediate vicinity I advise you to go to Paciano medieval beautiful village and Panicale renaissant village,
Close by is Castiglione del Lago; visit Palazzo della Corgna and with your children or, as children, walks into the walls until the fortress done by Federico II , the king come from Normandie.
Travel on Lake Trasimeno to the fisherman's isle where you can spend a great afternoon.
If you would like to continue to discover il 'Perugino ' go to Città Della Pieve to Santa Maria de I Bianchi. It is the most beautiful fresco showing “la natività e l'arrivo dei Magi”.
Close is Chiusi, the ancient city of King Porsenna, is a city of Etruscan origin.
The tombs, which are very interesting, are visible in the surrounding areas.
Not far is Montepulciano; the most beautiful Renaissant town in Italy. I advise you to go to the Avignonesi cellars to taste the fine wines and the Redi one, for Newsweek the most beautiful in the world,
Further is Pienza the first small Italian city built according to a regular plan as 'the ideal town' in the 17th century and one of the “Treasure of the humanity” for the UNESCO.
To arrive in Pienza follow the indication to Montichielli, NOT to Pienza.

On the other part of Lake Trasimeno is Cortona- (under Tuscan Sun) - At the museum of The Etruscan Academy there is the famous Etruscan lamp the oldest in the world.
You must visit in Perugia the “Rocca Paolina”, a curious item: A barbican built on 200 houses.
Equidistant is Orvieto: the cathedral is stupendous The Well an emotion for adults and children. And recently they opened the “underground town”.
Near by in Arezzo there is a good antiquity market the first Sunday of every month.
There is still much to see: Sarteano, Siena, Assisi (The town of San Francis with the two churches one up the other ) Gubbio.
If you want to go by train from Chiusi, you can travel comfortable either to Rome or Florence in about one hour, and still to return in the same day.
