Description

The wild natural Scottish highlands, among the few unspoilt edges of Europe, provides the back drop to POLGARRIE HOUSE.
This secluded traditional farmhouse ( built in 1877) set among the popular holiday area of the East Ross-shire hills, with stunning views down to the Dornoch firth sea.
It has been tastefully modernised and extended into a generous comfortable family home. The modern kitchen and open plan sitting area, is designed for family cooking, with this large living area looking out through double storey height picture windows.
The recent addition of an architect designed porch, creates an exciting, light entrance and allows for 4 comfortable bedrooms, with a bathroom and a separate downstairs toilet, shower room. There is a separate traditional cosy Scottish living room with fire place, which is used as a TV room. Internet WI FI is available around the house. lastly the quite downstairs bedroom provides magnificent views to provide inspiration for artists or author's creativity. Efficient heating and well insulated spaces keeps the house warm. The garden has its own lawn with trees and shrubs and is ideal for badminton, or for Summer alfresco dining.
The area surrounding the house has two waterfalls and ancient hut circles and a Broch. There are six golf courses within 20 minutes drive, and the famous Dornoch beach is 15 minutes away.
