Description

Cunningair is a self catering property with 4 double bedrooms (one is en-suite) and can comfortable accommodate 6 but can sleep up to 8. Ideally situated on the outskirts of Kirkwall, you will be staying in the perfect accommodation centrally located for travelling all over Orkney.

We also have two other properties in the same location - The Flat, and Wayward Apartment, if you are travelling with a large number of people, and require more than one property.

“Family trip.”

Fab house. Home from home. Spotless and very quiet and safe. We were a party of 6 adults. Plenty room. Views beautiful from the big lounge. Lovely and warm as well in the house. This was welcomed as when we were there weather a bit on the chilly side. Not far from the town centre. 20 to 30 min walk depending on pace. Easy access for ferry to other islands. We done Sanday. Very lovely. Nice pubs in Kirkwall and the gin distillery along with Highland Park distillery which is a pit 5 to 10 min walk recommended. Lovely experience in Orkney.

“Great accommodation”

Stayed here and in The Flat, which is downstairs, with six colleagues for a work trip. Great accommodation. Absolutely spotless with very comfy beds. The owners were very welcoming and left you alone but were always nearby if you had a question or two. We had two cars and there was plenty of room for parking. Lovely views across the hills and down to the sea. Would definitely stay here again when our company next visits Orkney.

How do damage deposits work?

If Colin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
