The building, situated in the heart of Pistoia between Piazza Della Sala, today home of a charming fruit, vegetable and flower market, and the charming Cathedral Square (Piazza del Duomo) is surrounded by ancient churches, monuments and museums. All the services are close by restaurants, bars, shops, buses and train station.
Pistoia, a hidden jewel in Tuscan crown, is very well connected by public transportations to all Tuscan’s sites and is a perfect starting point to visit this wonderful Italian region. “La Sala” property is made of two completely restored apartments: Vittoria and Virginia.

The whole property can host 6/8 people in total but can be separately rented for little groups of two or four people.
Vittoria can sleep max 4 people and Virginia max 2+1 people. The apartments have high ceilings and large windows which give them a light and airy feeling, they also have parquet flooring, conditioned air and are very tastefully furnished.
The two units have all the appliances you expect to find for a comfortable stay as well as your home.

Comfortable, light, airy scrupulously clean, Virginia apartment is fully equipped and includes:
1) the entrance and a very large living area
2) the fully-equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, freezer, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine,…)
3) the dining area with table and chairs for 4 people
4) a very comfortable sofa bed and and entertainment appliances (TV SAT, DVD player, stereo system)
5) a corridor with a large wardrobe
6) a cosy double bedroom ( kingsize bed or 2 twins)
7) a very nice bathroom with shower.
Virginia apartment, perfect for a romantic vacation, can comfortably sleep up to 2 + 1 guests.
This elegant apartment is at the meantime functional, practical and well connected to public transportation; it is an ideal stay for a romantic getaway, a family vacation or a relaxing break in a typical tuscan town.
Staying at Vittoria apartment is an ideal way for sightseeing churches, museums and shops within walking distance; central position and nice view complete the picture.
The train and bus links from Pistoia make it a fantastic base from which to explore other parts of northern Tuscany.
The train-line runs west to the coast with stops at the chic spa town of Montecatini Terme, (10 minutes away), and on to; Lucca, Pisa and Viareggio.
Florence to the east is less than 30 minutes away and many “Pistoiesi”commute there to study at the University or work in the city.
The ski resort of Abetone lies to the north of Pistoia only 45 minutes away.
If you take the time to search out this hidden jewel in Tuscany’s crown you will not be disappointed and if you truly want to sample Italian life the Tuscan way then a visit to Pistoia is a must.

Our property is located just in the heart of Pistoia historic city centre and is surrounded by lively streets full of shops, restaurants, pubs and coffee bars, most of them have tables and chairs outside.
The train station is 5 minutes walking (500 meters) and car is not necessary.
A free parking is at walking distance but you can take a shuttle that from the parking take you to the apartment.
The shuttle service is every 10 minutes (6 times /hour)

“An excellent accommodation”
We recommend this comfortable, spacious, well-appointed apartment in the historic center of Pistoia. Sig. Titti was most accommodating, even when we arrived almost three hours after we expected. She met us, took us to the car park, then with our bags back to the apartment. In addition to orienting us in the apartment, she gave us a little tour of the neighborhood, showing us restaurants, places to buy foods, and the immediate sites. The apartment is in the historic center, a lively area both day and night. It is very comfortable for two, or for a small family, since access to the bathroom is through the bedroom. It is well-appointed, with lots of pictures on the walls and color-coordinated upholstery and drapery, and plenty of closet and shelf space. There are lots of windows on two sides, with shutters so that one can get ventilation with privacy. There is air-conditioning and a satellite tv with a dvd player (which we did not use). The location is excellent. The apartment is a minute walk from the Piazza del Duomo. There are numerous shops and a produce market virtually just outside the door. In addition, a variety of bars and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. Pisitoia itself is very interesting. The train (about a ten minute walk from the apartment) to Florence, Lucca, Prato, or other destinations is quite convenient. Parking is also about ten minutes away, but we didn't use our car much because the train was so easy to get to. We recommend this apartment without hesitation.
