Tucked away in the rolling green hills along the border between Langhe and Monferrato, and in intimate contact with the rich and welcoming Piedmont countryside, Cascina del Cedro offers an ideal refuge for a relaxing visit. It is a meeting point for lovers of good taste seeking renowned food and wine tours amongst the medieval villages and castles, in a fascinating area rich in history and culture. It is also an ideal starting point for discovering the region, for visits to the mountains and the sea, and for hiking and mountain biking.
The historic farmhouse, nestled in the scenic green hills of Piedmont between Langhe and Monferrato, has recently been restored, preserving the traditional Piedmontese architectural elements symbolizing the simplicity and sobriety that still characterize the region, while at the same time adding a touch of elegance and attention to detail which have converted the structure and its immediate surroundings into an oasis amidst the vineyards. The complex, a traditional building with an interior courtyard, consists of four independent apartments, each offering numerous amenities for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The rooms are personalized with original paintings and furnished to a very high standard. The garden is a special place, offering peace and calm, ideal for relaxing with a good book or for a sunset cocktail while enjoying the breathtaking views.
"Barbera" apartment is one of the property's jewels. In a rustic style evoking the traditional Piedmontese atmosphere, Barbera offers refined and elegant living space where original elements from the cascina have been preserved and enhanced with great attention to detail. The apartment is on three levels and has a large living area with kitchen, a double bedroom, a loft for moments of relaxation and two bathrooms. It has its own independent entrance from the interior courtyard and a lovely balcony.
