Description

222 Comfy House is situated in the popular area of Heywoods Park, St Peter the West Coast of Barbados. 800 yards from white sandy beaches and 900 yards from the local town centre Speightstown, one of the original towns of Barbados. Speightstown consists of supermarkets, clothing shops, restaurants, Fishermans Pub and local Bars and don't forget takeaways. All the things that make a holiday enjoyable. The house has WIFI. There is no water or Gas charge and there is a generous allowance of electricity. The ensuite and the bathroom are equipped with showers. All 3 bedrooms have double beds with Air Conditioning. All other amenties and information are in the advert.

Last but not least the locals are very welcoming and hospitable.

The transport system for hired cars, Government buses and private buses are plentiful.

The house is fully equipped with bed linen, towels and everything you need in the kitchen.

“home from home”

The property is in a quiet avenue in speightstown close to beach and bus terminal. 222 comfy house is equipped with everything you would have in your own home making our stay very comfortable indeed. The owner Ron even phoned to check everything was ok and wished a good stay. The property is about a 10 minuet stroll from speightstown centre where there is a fantastic bakery,supermarket and street vendors selling fresh produce also plenty of restaurants and cafe's. The bus terminal has buses going all over the island making it easier to explore,riding the yellow bus is definatley an experience one should not miss. Thank you Ron and Wendy our holiday this year was the best none yet and hope to come back soon.

“2018 holiday to Barbados”

We have just arrived back to the UK after a fabulous 10 days.222 is the ideal place to stay, Ron and Wendy have provided a great place with all the amenities that you need to make your holiday a great one .222 is a 10 minute walk to the beach and all you expect in Speights town good bars and resturants.Ron phoned us as we arrived to make sure everything needed .The bungalow was spotless Thank you

Response from the owner In answer to this very disgruntled review. The guest arrived on the Island with a very bad attitude because I always phone my guests and try my best to welcome them to the Island especially when it is their first visit. Upon making contact with this guest, he was complaining to me that the Island had a very nasty stench!, he was also asked to leave a restaurant at 21.00 hours because he was the last person on the premises. He asked me to provide transport from the airport to the property but never mentioned that he had a bicycle, which the driver was not very happy about. He also abused the property,leaving all used utensils dirty, electrical equipment switched on 24/7 i.e. fans, airconditionings, lights and the premises unsecured by leaving the backdoor open. The interior of the property was never cleaned and he left a paltry sum of BD$25.00 for the cleaner, I pay her BD$10.00 plus BD$20.00 graturity. He told me that there was going to be 2 guests, him and his brother, but his brother dropped out at the last minute. His critisism of the outside of the property is not fair, I have a gardener who visits the property once a month. The house is surrounded by a very large concrete area with lots of large flower plants and the front of the house has 3 large flower pots containing palms, there is parking space for about 10 cars or more. There are lots of towels and bed linen provided and everything that makes your stay comfortable and enjoyable and most of all the price is very affordable, especially for Barbados. Barbados does not come cheap. Being a hot country most washing is dried outside and I have provided a very modern rotary line. Complaints about the TV is not fair, because when he mentioned it to me, I said I would see to it and he refused and told me, he did not come to Barbados to watch TV. The day he moved out, the cleaner called the relevant people and was told it was a power surge that caused the problem and it was put right the same day he left. I do hope he will get in touch and I will try my best to put all his wrongs right, because it's my very first negative review and by doing this things could only get better.
